Such a weird sample size, at times I can’t tell if the defense sucking makes Damone look bad or average or if he’s really just hit and miss. Dude was 1 million times better in the 3-4.

He was demoted by Manny Diaz....yes, Manny Diaz thought his long time protege wasn't a good play caller, so O went out and hired him.

I see him do that, but mainly he ends up cleaning up another player’s mistake. Also, he had 8 solo tackles out of his 18 total, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 forced fumble.
If there’s any thing he could clean up in his game, it’s getting off blocks better and filling holes.
I don’t know if he’s not strong enough, doesn’t use his hands properly, is too hesitant, or what. But big runs up the middle (to me, that’s 5 yards or more) are usually due to miscues like these for both linebackers.

Has he met a runner in the hole all year? Seems easier to him if just tackles them from behind after 10 yards.
It's not his fault that he's not talented, he just isn't. It Os fault for his terrible evaluations at LB leaving us no other choices.
