A lot of people on here can't see the forest for the shitty bull pen, crappy fielding, the inordinate amount of RISP, and not realize it's unaddressed issues. But stating the obvious is negative. Sounds like Democrats.

It always amazes Oldmanbeasley how some people find a way to bring politics into everything.

Do you realize other teams have issues too

Other teams having issues makes you feel good about the shitty bullpen?

Our bullpen is not great. That’s true, but our team overall is good enough to get to Omaha. That’s really all you can ask for in college baseball. I really think people are expecting Jay to go on some Nick Saban run but that just doesn’t happen. So much luck involved in baseball.

It’s how a team with multiple weaknesses like last years ole miss team can win a ship. If they can then our shitty pen can as well.

What about saying stuff like “frick Johnson?” Is that negative? Just trying to understand your logic

I am not negative on the team. I am negative on Johnson. They are two different things.

I assume you thought bringing in Little was a good idea. Get fricked

I assume you thought he did so thinking it gave them the best chance to win today. Clearly he was still working on his postseason bullpen rotation. The only issue I have is that Johnson hadn’t already conceded that Little won’t be fixed this season.

Ole Miss lost their last series and 0-1 in Hoover last year.

Their trajectory was bad too.

Eh it wasn’t really that bad. They lost 2/3 to the #4 team in the country, but swept the two series before that. The last 3 weeks of the regular season was their best stretch of the year.

It is absolutely inexcusable to bring Little in with a potential conference championship at stake. Hence, I am very negative in Johnson.

Not to mention his baffling shifting of our defense that led to 3, maybe 4 runs for UGA today.

Also, don’t forgot that Lemonis coached circles around him last Sunday.

Again, you are assuming he was making moves based on individual game results versus experimenting to prepare for postseason.

There are plenty of things to be concerned about. If they don’t improve all around this team will go out with a whimper. It is slumping at the worst possible time. There was plenty on the line today- SEC tiltle, seeding, pride, etc. and what we got was a pitiful performance in every aspect- pitching, hitting, fielding , and most importantly: coaching.

That’s fine if he’s doing that. But if that’s the case, then us as fans shouldn’t have to believe a word that comes out of his mouth with how much he preaches that they treat every game as if it’s a postseason game.

You need pitching in Omaha either way.
We need to see the reality here.
This is not a Championship team.
Just isn’t.

In game venting isn’t nearly as bad to me as postgame meltdowns that are seemingly gleeful that we lost. Full of I told you so’s and impending doom that they forecasted. And all giddy about it like a schoolgirl.

It’s incredibly negative to see a team win 42 games, secure a National seed and be a gigantic pu$$y fan boy that cries about everything.

Get a life.

What kind of coach experiments with a championship on the line?

That is what mid week games are for

Concerned is one thing saying this team is getting swept during the game Thursday is another.

So what you’re saying is it’s more important to win the SEC Regular Season title than it is to experiment and hopefully get someone right for the post season?

You probably gave up on other pitchers like Hurd too. Jay/Wes have continued to work guys through their issues. If we don’t have guys like Coleman, Hurd, and probably Little step up it’ll be a difficult road ahead.

The SEC Regular Season title means nothing when we most likely have a Top 8 seed locked up.

There are no midweek games left. He’s been using those as well.

Playing to win is important. I may be wrong, and I hope we win it all, but don’t be surprised when Johnson puts Little in during the post season and we lose a game because of it.

We would be SEC champs had he not relied on Little so much, and I a, not just talking about today.
