It has been a hectic summer for Miles....

1. One-year probation
2. Shepard's housing issue
3. Willie Lyles
4. Bar fight
5. Skipping curfew
I don't want to believe it but the program is startIng to look like it's out of control. Two weeks remain and maybe we can have a successful 2011 season, but the perception outside of the Tiger family has to be looking very bad.

Yep, Kragthorpe and sister. Wow!!!
I separated bar fight from skipping curfew because it's two different boneheaded moves by the players. Not only did they sneak out but they were silly enough to allow themselves to get into a big fight. Some one had to have known that it would get back to Miles.

The program is not losing control.
1. Happened two years ago and was handled very well.
2. Not the coaching/football programs problem really nor is it a major issue.
3. Is a bullshite situation that nothing happened with.

Get a grip, the program is not out of control. Lots of drama more than substance on most IMO
But you have a point on CLM. Lots of stress with his sister and Krags and then add the other.
Thought it showed today. Never heard him say something has been hard on him, and he looked both disappointed and upset

the program is in shambles. lack of institution control. we're getting the death penalty. LSU athletics will plummet to a level of mediocrity for eternity. all hope is lost.

The majority of non-lsu fans wouldn't even know what number one and two are. Willie Lyles was only a big deal bc thw media really wanted there to be a story turned into nothing. And 4 and 5 are the same incident which we have yet to get all the facts from and hasnt turned into a big deal yet

Last year there was the whole Toliver thing and didn't T-bob get his DWI sometime in the off-season? Some years it is more than others, but there is always things that go on during the offseason that are soon forgotten once the season starts. Then going into the Bowl game there was the Ridley situation, etc.
Things will happen and being as big of a program as LSU, they are always under the microscope.

He has to really be bothered by this. He has been building up an embattled QB as the leader of the team, and two weeks before the 1st game he leads a group of players on a curfew-break. Not leadership material...
Then, this group of players (possible 15-20) apparently ganged up on 4 guys.
There is nothing there to not be upset about.
And as someone else pointed out, Miles likely knows details that have not been released or confirmed that could make this look a lot worse.
