hes listed as an athlete but will likely play safety...4* kid out of florida, very good player. cant provide a link right now but will when i get to a computer

Did you mean CB? Supposedly, this kid runs a 4.38 forty time, so he would possibly be a good candidate for CB.

Anybody got highlights of this kid?

He had to take it. He was about to get canned at D'ville. No one can stand the prick. This guy thinks he is Saban and would definitely blow him if given the chance. He doesn't care about anyone but himself....PERIOD!

The guy is definitely a low-life and a fraud. All you need to do is ask some Houston area coaches about him. Eventually, it will all catch up with him.

Reasons LSU fans should pull for Notre Dame

I fully agree. Forget the SEC streak. I'm a LSU fan first and foremost. Any thing good happens for the Crimson Tide is bad for LSU.

Janet or Kristy? 80's sitcom.

After reading the best sitcoms of the 80's, I thought about Three's Company's babes. Everyone seemed to love Kristy, but for some reason I really, really liked Janet better. She had that exotic look about her plus she had much more curves.
That scoring play was a mental break down by someone in the secondary. Someone was supposed to be man-to-man. TM was so special because of his instinct. He probably would have sniffed it out.
I would love to see Shep get the ball on the jet sweep with Ware at QB.
Playing quality non conference foes will prepare us better for the SEC. Not to say we have any one-n-done guys, but there is no time like the present. IMO, u take your lumps in the non conference games, hoping that it will improve you quicker for conference play. Think about how the Oregon game improved our play last season. Plus you will get a lot more fans in the Dome if you are playing Duke than if you play Texas Southern.
Will we see more competitive teams come to play at the Deaf Dome or will we start playing more name schools on the road? In basketball, there isn't any concern that your team will have season crippling injuries from playing good teams. I would have to believe that JJ will try to get some nationally televised games. It really would help make the program more visible to national recruits.
But we really shouldn't expect many outsiders to have the same faith we all have in our Tigers. We barely score enough points to beat ATM and Auburn. Two teams that haven't shown any kind of defensive ability all year. We have to believe in our defense that held ATM to 12 points for most of the game and gave them an extra TD due to some stupid penalties on their last drive. This same ATM team that is 3rd nationally in scoring offense with 46 ppg. The same team that put 60+ points up on Auburn. We are better than the final results of those two games. We just haven't translated it to points on the board. Will our offense finally do something? I don't know, but I believe that Chavis will come up with a plan to have our defense put the offense I position to win. Will our special teams step-up and play like they are capable? We haven't punted, kicked FGs, returned punts, or even covered like kicks like we are capable. But we do have that capability.
Will all 3 phases of our team show up finally? I just find it hard to believe that we will not put it all come together more than once (Washington anybody?) in 9 games.

Due to unforeseen loses of players, I still believe we have the components to play like the team that started the season #1. As far as I'm concerned, who cares what the national people think. I believe. Geaux Tigers!!!!

:nana:
It seems like we just haven't been on the same page all year on offense. I don't know how much that has to do with us changing up from a 75/25 run/pass team to now being more of a 50/50 run pass team. I think we have a better chance now than in Jan when we refused to challenges them down the field. Now we will actually take shots down the field.
So much talk about if LSU has any chance they will... Or LSU lacks such and such. I have never heard so much doubt since the Dinardo years. Bama is beating teams like they did in 2011. And our defense held them in check. Our offense has too start clicking, but we have the components to win.

8 games into the season...

And we still have no clue what team shows up on Saturday. Do we get the Auburn performance or the Washington performance? Maybe, this LSU is like the Ohio State team that beat Miami for the NC. We don't look very impressive but we find a way to win. I am anxious to see the team we all believed would dominate like last season's team in addition to a good passing game. :dude: It has to happen this week to keep LSU's dreams alive.
All the pressure is on Alabama right now. They are the ones who are undefeated, sitting at #1. I believe Chavis will bring at least 5 rushers on almost every down and we will see a lot of 3-man fronts when Bama spread us out. But the pressure from the blitz will be key. We can't allow AJ to have time to throw those deep outs and corner routes because he has proven that he can hit them with consistancy.

Offensively, we have to pass on 1st down and we must establish some kind of running game. Passing it 29 times won't be the key. Moving chains to get field position will be. And passing the ball between the two high safeties will be what deteremines our success.
They didn't do us a favor by putting USCe and UF on the schedule while Bama got Kentucky and Missouri.
We have got to have someone keep the safeties inside the hashes. I like the 3 WR set with two split backs from the gun. If we do go playaction the FB and RB need to be on opposite sides two protect both sides of the center. Last week was the first time in a long time that I saw more than 3 wrs in the route. I think the OL has really come along recently and we could see more multiple wrs.
iPhone changes words sometimes. I didn't see it.
Wiliford wasn't flawless when he played. There were quite a few mental break downs he had this year. Since Turner replaced him the OL looks much more in sync plus with Josh improved play @ LT, we look much better upfront. I think Wiliford would be a better swing player, until Turner shows that he can't handle the role as a starter.

***sorry, meant RG***
LSU loss @ UF>>>> Bama loss @ home vs. Moo State

Our loss would be a better loss because it was away from Tiger Stadium against a top 10 team. But Bama would still be ranked ahead of us because Saban doesn't loss games, his team beats themselves therefore the other team didn't actually win.
Not really talking about negatigers. Listening to the Louisville-Cincy game at how Rod Gilmore pretty much called out our coaches and Mett pissed me off. Then there have been many radio/tv talking heads bashing our QB. Dari on ESPN for a while said we weren't a top 10 team. As well as others. I just feel like its time for us to circle the wagon and support our Tigers even more. Can we criticize them? Yes. But in the end, this is our team we have chosen to support.
