Fans have absolutely nothing to do with the shitty scheme and blocking.

It's still a difficult schedule, but some are making it out to be something that it's just not. We've been having this discussion since the preseason. It's a normal SEC schedule.

You people have had the same line of defense ever since 2009. You never change.

The Alabama game was that bad and our schedule didn’t turn out to be as tough as originally thought.

LSU had the 3rd hardest schedule last week. 1st after the Bama game.
Now it's the 20th hardest schedule. Things are looking less and less impressive.
yeah getting in that last cupcake and Auburn/Miami being bad is going to do that. i'm not even talking shite i'm just saying the talking point should be dead. we didn't have an EASY schedule, but we do have 2 losses to show for it

until fans play the game, I wont take an "its the fans" argument seriously
no secret that the deeper we get into the season:
when we should be getting better with reps and experience, we are actually getting worse on offense
which correlates to teams getting film on us and charting our tendencies
and the fear we all had about SE as OC coming true - he is too old and set in the past to adapt and improve this offense on the fly
what you saw in August is what you see in November

No man, its brutal. Brutal I tell you. Ask the rant. Never been one like this.

It's not a schedule to take lightly and I think Miami and Auburn have probably regressed from where they were when we played them. But, the "it's a good record considering the schedule" crowd is way off IMO.

Its a good schedule, but this, brutal schedule so nine or ten wins is great, is stupid.
As others have said, if ten wins is now great, why did we fire a guy who average that for eleven years while having a better offense?

Have yourself a merry little down vote.

Oh, the people changed, even as the argument stays the same.
This level of play and this particular type of play was not good enough for LSU to keep Les Miles. He got the boot because of the stubbornness and offensive inadequacies.
Here we are. Same 'ole same 'ole. Play it safe and win with defense / special teams. Aspire for nothing. Pray you get one golden season.
LSU has substituted Lesticles for Lessticles.
*ETA -- That Lessticles jab was aimed more at Miles at the end of his tenure, not Ed O... but Orgeron does need to grow a set and get himself an offense.

Okay you blithering idiots, time for a dose of reality to wake you up from your dreams of Saban walking through that door. I’m sooo very tired of the endless threads on this and that wrong with the offense. The biggest issue with this team is its fans.
No doubt that you actually believe this. That's the mentality and "Modus Operandi" of all you delusional Pump Lump Nut Butter Cheerleader MA's. Don't say mean things about the football team. It may cause them to have bad feelings and play bad, huh?

Please don't subject yourself to the constant negativity on here. Just cease and desist logging in if bothers you that much to read opinions that are different or contrary to your own. Seriously, just stay away and avoid the anxiety that reading the Rant produces.....

Not buying it. Hey, you're right though, Burrow certainly does not suck. He was coached well at Ohio State, thank God.
LSU must be the only team in the country where it takes years to implement something. "We're not ready to run a 4 WR offense." Not ready? What? Look at the offense at Washington St. Utah State. And dare I say, Alabama? Yes, I know Alabama gets the #1 recruiting class every year. Tends to help. I understand. But, Saban seems to be able to change offensive philosophy on a dime. Here, at LSU, it takes a friggin' exorcism or something.
You plug any of the QBs that have come through here over the past few years and been MISHANDLED, and put them at Washington St., and see what they do.
Look, I'm not an Orgeron fan but he's done a really good job. I'm happy w/ the season, really hope we beat A&M, and sign a great class. OK? But the offensive production this year has been subpar, statistics don't lie. And I have no vendetta against Ensminger, I like him, but he's yesterday's news. Give him a gold watch, a nice retirement package, and best wishes, or put him back at tight end coach.

I blame Miles lack of recruiting linemen

Pass protection, or lack thereof. Biggest issue with offense. Second is the shuffling lack of cohesion due to injuries and our most physically gifted OL out for the year due to off field issues. That simple.

Never satisfied, talking down what has truly been a great season, instead of the 6-6 clusterfrick we were promised by everyone in the nation.
So tired of this. People didn't pick LSU to make the BCS title game in 2011, but that season is seen as a failure.
