I don't live and breathe college baseball 24/7, so I'll leave that for someone that does to decide. What I will say is that I'm glad he play for LSU and not somebody else.

I’ve been very honest about our own players who I viewed as overrated in the past and there’s nothing to nitpick Crews on. He’s a special, once in a lifetime type of player for LSU. True 5 tool player and he also seems to truly have great character and leadership skills. Calling him overrated would’ve been like calling Fournette overrated while he was running for 500 yards and throwing grown men around like children against Auburn

This is an old tweet. But not any less wrong. I’ve watched a fair amount of TN baseball this year and I like our guys chances of taking the series. Last year Crews didn’t have as much line up support. You pitch around him at your own peril this year. That said, he likely won’t see ANY fastballs for a strike from any TN pitchers. That’s how underrated they think he is.

No. I’ve known about the tweet since the day it happened. It got a decent amount of attention then. But with Crews’ OPS at about 1.500 and averaging over 100 mph off the bat right as SEC play starts, I thought it was time to bring some TD attention to it.
