Yep. They should just change the game of basketball and give the other team no chance to win in a closely played game in the final minute. Makes perfect sense.
Just turn the game off for the closing minute if it bothers you so much.

The last 30 seconds in a nail biter are riveting. But as far as games like this go I see what you mean.

I think it's fine but sometimes they need to call intentional fouls, because they won't go for the ball like their supposed to.

It's only bad when one team is trying to "not" run up the score. LSU had a turnover with about a min or less, because they were trying to hold the ball. I think it was Edwards but he had Epps all alone under the goal. Arky got the turnover and cut into the lead. Play to the final whistle.

It’s not a problem unless the game is in the 6-to-12-point range in the last two minutes. You could call intentional fouls on every foul at that point, but then you end comeback hopes.
What I would say about today is that either LSU did a poor job with defensive fouls in the last two minutes or the officials just got really ticky-tacky on calls and helped Arkansas stayed close. Way too many fouls against LSU in the final two minutes. Not common for a team with an 8-to-10-point lead at that point of the game.

Not a bad idea. Discourages the foulfest at the end but still forces the team in the lead to take care of business.
