I'm always optimistic the first Friday in November

LSU thinks that it can run the ball on bama and for what it's worth so do I.

That would be great.
I’m no expert! Probably a function of 41 years of losing to them. Haha!

Burrow could actually have a big night.

Would be awesome.

LSU will have to play flawlessly AND get some big breaks, in my opinion. I'm afraid Bama is that good. It is crazy to say but If we win it will be a HUGE upset regardless of the fact that we are ranked #3. it will be a monumental win if it can be pulled off.

LOL we had Anthony Jennings starting at QB. The only position clearly better was running back.

Because we lost in 12 and 14 with much better teams. Ie more talent.
So therefore I am concerned about this years team.

Yeah, I think you're right about Burrow boosting the confidence. I'm confident each year we could win, but it was hard to get too excited with the likes of Etling, Harris, or Jennings under center.

12 yes but 14 did not have more talent than this team. That said this appears to be the best gump team Saban has had.

Optimistic about the direction the team is going but not necessarily about winning this game. Just a very tall task this year.

no. if bama didn't have Tua I would predict an lsu victory. and don't forget about their damn NFL wide outs.

I think we keep it close and it is definitely possible we win but I think it will take a few breaks and we have to play perfect.

I’m not optimistic but I am tired of hearing that LSU has no shot and the Gumps are the greatest. Man, frick dem.

LSU can compete and come 4th quarter anything can happen.

There's a lot of emotion surrounding this game and a lot of us are caught up in it. After that wears out, this game is going to have to be won with discipline, strategy and avoiding miscuses. Alabama is still better than every other team at both of those things. This is going to be as tough as any other game vs them, if not tougher.

LSU needs to take the opening kickoff and sustain a drive like the Saints did the opening drive against Baltimore, only finish it with a TD. IIRC, the Saints took 10 minutes off the clock before the Ravens saw the ball.

If LSU can do that and score, it will affect the mindset of the Bama players as it will be the first time this season that a game has not started exactly like the Bama coaches drew it up.

If they're down 7-0 at a point in the game when they're usually up 21-0, the pressure to score will get to them and could very well lead to Tua's first interception.

Why does everyone think they are trotting out the ‘12 or ‘14 alabama teams? The only reason the “experts” are saying this is the best Bama team ever is tua. He is for real. The rest of their team is not as good as past squads. They are blowing out suspect teams by throwing the ball all over the yard. We have the best defensive backfield in the country. I like this matchup. Call me crazy but I don’t see them running the ball on us at will.

they are just as good everywhere as any of there past teams except possibly d line (though with the way Quinnon Williams is playing maybe even that isn't true. Then Buggs and Raekwon Davis (thug) are also high level). Oline has as much or more talent than past teams, same with WR's and RB's. LB's and DB's are typical for Bama. But difference is Tua.

Tua one or two picks. LSU will run the ball against bama. Bama will struggle running the ball against LSU.

I feel really good about this game. I think this is the game Bama gets exposed.

We comin

I’m somehow at a point that I think we will win but if we do lose, I won’t be devastated/depressed because we are trending in the right directing and it’s going to happen sooner rather than later.
