Are you somehow implying that Cannon’s personal problems share some resemblance to this JD5 situation? Dr. Cannon did something illegal, yes, but he didn’t seek to drag LSU into his momma drama. I don't know if he put out statements, but I'm betting people were upset when his all star son went to Texas A&M.
Also, people were burning effigies of Saban when he went to bama and were infuriated when JaMarcus Russell stood on the sideline with a "bama boy" chain. Time heals all wounds and eventually people will let this go.
