Rah Rah guy. Likable. Great position coach. Signature soundbite ("Geaux Tigers" vs "Yessir!") Totally dependent on his coordinators for success.

His personality seems pretty opposite of Coach O.

Yeah I guess I can see the comparison. That said, I’ve been impressed with Pittman at Arky so far….seems to be a good program-builder, given their disadvantages relative to Bama LSU A&M. Arkansas will probably never have the talent that some of their SEC peers have.

I think he’s a solid HC

Yes. I think the major difference here though is he knows the importance of good coordinators and doesn’t run them off/have a terrible reputation that prevents hire them.

I live in Northwest Arkansas and consider myself a razorback expert due to all the shite talking I need to be prepared for.

Yes, it can work but it’s very hard to sustain. And when you spend less on the HC in favor of coordinators, if it works the HC will demand to be paid like the top HC’s. He better hope that the GAs and analysts working under Kendall Briles have learned everything he knows. Barry Odom is probably not going anywhere though.

Yes but thats exactly what Arky signed up for. They saw the model work (for a bit) at LSU and went for it. They now see how hard it is to be consistent with that model.

Voting was for current UNO students only. The current students apparently don't want to pay more fees for a football team.

Pittman is what LSU fans wanted Coach O to be.

Arkansas doesn't have the horses to ever reach the ceiling O was able to hit in 2019, but I think the floor is (relatively) higher.

All head coaches are dependent on their co-ordinators.

Well, it's probably a lot of out of town students, anyways. But I heard through the grapevine that it's not altogether through and that they'll look for alternative means.

Does that imply O was a great DL coach? We had horrible dline play the last 2 years.

You clowns/trolls must have left the planet in 2019.
How many NCs did Pittman win?

He's a good coach. They were screwed from the get go when Jalen Catalon and LaDarious Bishop went down early with season ending injuries in an already thin secondary. This is the main thing wrecking their season. Catalon was a preseason first team all-american safety. Dude was like Laron Landry with better coverage skills. KJ being banged up the last month has hurt them as well.

It’s been a year yet every day somebody feels compelled to shite on previous coach or coaches. Let it go. It’s in the past. Move on and enjoy the present.

Pittman doesn't seem like he's going through a mid life crisis

The two idiots that gave you a downvote have no clue or college football acumen, because what you posted is facts. Hell, Arky was very upfront about the blueprint and it was discussed at length on the SEC network, Arky boards etc. Here, have an upvote to balance out these other 2 fvcking morons.
