Milam is not a draft eligible sophomore and will be back next year, do you think he’ll go in the first round in 2026? His glove has been outstanding this year and he’s shown that he can come through with his bat when it matters the most. I love watching this young man play ball and definitely hope to see him in the big leagues one day!

I can see him being an MLB 2B.

Switch hitter
Elite defense
Makes good contact with the ball
Decent speed
Savvy demeanor

I’m not saying it’ll happen, but I can see it.

he won't be drafted early as a ss . Just not quite enough arm,I could see him going in the top 7 rounds if he continues to show power and good bat to ball skills on both sides of the plate.

he may get an altuve comp and ride that to a pretty nice payday

who would you say is his comp? altuve is who I've heard people say. hes got power for his size, altuve has proven you can be his size and still succeed at a high level.

i just meant the precedent has been set and if he is looked at as someone with an altuve type ceiling then he will get paid

Definitely think Milam can make it to the majors as a second baseman. He has the glove, is a switch hitter , has decent power and can hit for average. Glad he will be a tiger for one more year.

ETA: think one more year against SEC competition and he shows out that he indeed could be a first rounder

If he can keep up his defense and get 7-10 homers from each side of the plate next season, then he definitely could be.

He needs more power to make up for his small frame if he’s going to get some serious 1st round buzz.

Lock? Of course not. Think he’ll need a heck of a next season to get to the 1st round. But i think he’s a top 4 round guy

his arms fine for college and minors ,but he won't play ss in the bigs.it just doesn't happen much at his size without plus arm strength

He will have a good career at 2B in the majors. He hits well and has elite glove skills
