Is LSU’s O-Line Ready for Bama?

During the seven straight regular season losses, it seems like the common denominator for LSU losing to Bama, according to the fan base, is its offensive line.
“Fournette didn’t suck against Bama, he just doesn’t have an offensive line to block for him.”
“Burrow would have been more effective if he had time to throw the ball.”
So I’m asking you, Tiger fans, will LSU’s offensive line be the group to blame if LSU loses in Tuscaloosa this year?

They were ready for Auburn’s

Yes
UA front seven is like Tua’s ankles, weak AF.

They did ok vs Auburn. Bama isn’t as good but it’ll be loud. I think they’ll be able to protect Burrow ok but I worry about pre snap penalties and making holes for Clyde.

This DLine isn’t as good as years past
And we are going to be keeping them in their toes.
Playing LSU in 2015 you basically play every play like a run and 80% of the time you were right.

Yes. Auburn proved that. Next.

It had more to do with scheme than anything, although last year was musical chairs with the Oline. I think we will be able to rack up some yards on the ground against Bama, just like with Auburn and Florida, because we are a legit balanced offense now.
We are a pick your poison offense for the first time in a very long time, and the Oline is vastly improved because of it. Makes their jobs easier.

Yep
Auburn’s DLine is MUCH better then bamas
Bama does have some really good outside backers though

We dominated on OL and DL in 2017

FIFY
The Oline was never THE ISSUE. THE ISSUE was that we ran a very predictable, shitty offensive scheme from 1885. That type of offense can work IF you have a very dominant Oline. We did not have a dominant Oline we had a serviceable Oline but instead of scheming to their strengths, we did the exact opposite.

eh, LSU had no passing game, stack the line, stop the run, force LSU to pass, easy strategy for Saban. It was more abt Les refusing to adapt than our OL. Maybe over-simplified, but more or less...
Things are different now.

They need to be ready. The game they played against UF is what we need

I think their defense is close to Auburn's but not quite as good - so we should be able to move the ball against them on the ground. Just gotta keep their offense from taking quick slants to the house. Should be a great game!

Clyde don't need a hole, he makes his own, unlike the North South Fournette!

WHOA WHOA WHOA
slow down
you could have had all americans 5 across and it MAY not have mattered when less smiles ran into the teeth against stacked boxed over and over and over. The play calling was shite. the line may not have been as good as we liked but miles handicapped the whole offense with playing in a phone booth and not using whole field. predictable.
we had a good line in 2012. you can argue it got weaker after that. but again miles did them no favors.

And Florida. I'm not worried about this offensive line now. Alabama is very stout on the outsides. Very vulnerable on the inside. This is where we will attack them. Even Alabama fans are worried about our inside running game.

I think O line is going to prepare for alabama's d line knowing this will be their toughest game. We have enough to dominate them and have that explosion. Just have to go out and do it.

This isn’t their toughest game though. Last game was.

What I do know is that we are field tested. We can go back and forth with Alabama fan about the strength of schedule for the next 11 days or so. We talked about this before the season even started. How will Alabama's soft schedule play into the picture if both teams are sitting at 8-0. Well here with both sit and I like our chances big time.
