JuCo prospects.

Yep. Totally screwed. So much so that you should probably just not bother posting about it in threads, watching games, etc.

Are we really going to have to sit here and listen to you say that it's an oversight by Mainieri 2,784 times between now and next season?

You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about, so stop repeating the same BS in every single baseball thread.

Pitching will be strong

Hitting has me concerned but as they develop these young players will be good, they need to see SEC pitching which they were not able to do, but everyone else is in same boat.

You hope Drost and Crews are as advertised and I still think the roster will fluctuate as LSU may be able to add some transfers to fill in gaps with position players.

Given what we saw in Spring and what we DONT know... it seems we could be.

But say Bianco and Travinski wake up from wherever they were and everything is different. Dugas will get better, as will Gio. Milazzo decent. Beloso is proven. Crews is an elite HS hitter....
We are not totally sunk

They will essentially have to replace guys, on an already poor hitting team, with players that couldn’t beat out the guys from the year before & freshmen.

There’s no marquee centerpiece returning. This is LSU, man. That shouldn’t ever happen.

42% of your HRs & 35% of your XBH are gone from last year, just between 3 players. And that team couldn’t hit to begin with.

Pitching will be very strong.

Putting together the everyday lineup will be an adventure. We have a lot of good prospects at all positions. For a baseball fan it should be fun to watch and see what happens.

So no, we are not screwed.

They need to have some two way players this year. Start letting them hit live pitching ASAP. DH is open

Cade Beloso is a proven power bar in the SEC and also do you not think that had the season played out we wouldn’t have at least one more guy out of the sophomore or freshman class that could become the centerpiece?

It’s a lot of unproven talent but that doesn’t mean the talent doesn’t exist. Players do get better. There are a lot more Kramer Robertson’s in college baseball than Alex Bregmans. Some players need a couple years to just mature and aren’t great from day one.
