Yes, because he hasn’t lost a game yet.

Almost all coaches are loved before they coach any games

When you no longer live at home, and have some life experiences, post that question again.

I'm not going to lie; I have a soft spot in my heart for Coach DiNardo. Say what you will about him but most of you young kids have no idea what hell he brought us out of, the late 80's and early 90's were awful and he brought back the magic. When he took over, LSU hadn't had a winning season or ranked in 6 straight years. His first three years were pretty good winning bowl games against Michigan State, Clemson and Notre Dame. He fell off pretty bad after that, but he brought back the white jerseys for home games and made us respectable again, so I appreciate him for that.

If Dinardo had fired Tepper, we may never have gotten Saban.

I was introduced to him days before we hired Miles. The finalists were miles snd DelRio but we should have considered Kiffin back then.
What? Miles was the winningest coach in LSU football history. It was the best decade of LSU football all time.
It was too soon for Lane to be a HC and his record proves it.

Definitely, his garage is packed full of Dr Pepper.

The man deserves a lot of credit but doesn’t get because of his last 2 seasons. As a child of the 80s and in high school in the early 90s LSU was a basketball school. And when he signed Faulk— we got special in a hurry.
