Harbaugh went 8-4 year three at Michigan after consecutive 10 win seasons. Does he suck too?

BK is not a bad coach. shite needs to improve but this isn’t 3-4 years ago when you could recruit and hold talent.

We lack depth in a lot of places. Feel free to throw in a dollar or two if you wanna bitch. We need more talent

We were told he came here to win MULTIPLE championships. LSU is no where near dominant enough to come close to a single championship right now. Isn't happening next year either.

It’s both.

He can’t coach championship football.

Yes. Kelly is not a good HC. Coaching in the SEC will either expose or reveal a coaches inabilities or gifts. We are closer to being 5-6 than we are to being 9-2. Kelly in a sense is like O. He has been exposed. LSU fans have been to the top of the mountain and the bottom of the valley. We know what a good and bad coach looks like. Kelly is 63 yo. The man should possess a talent that would've enabled him to come down here and be competing nationally. Yet we are regressing. He lacks the innovation, organizational skills and now the will to have this epiphany and change. Coach hiring thinking is medieval. Woodward went for wow factor and wasn't smart enough to ask the right questions. Buckle in for mediocrity.

Let’s say he is. Who would you recommend. It seems to me that there are several other coaches in the SEC that I haven’t the same difficulties. Everyone always thinks the grass is greener but sometimes it really isn’t.

Yes, he really is that bad.

This year's schedule was, by far, the easiest path through the SEC LSU has had in decades. This schedule reminded me of what Bama got in the "bridge years" when their alum Womack would make the schedules for the SEC and give Bama the easiest path.

LSU had that, and this fricker still lost four games.

LSU, with sub par coaching, would be in the SECCG and playoff with this schedule.

I can't understand why he doesn't go for the easy points early in the game. Why in the world didn't he kick a field goal on LSU's first drive? What is this obsession with going for it on fourth down when you can take points?

Yes, don't you read the Rant? Wait a minute, he has won over 300 games as a head coach and has improved every program that he has been part of. The man is a good coach. The expectations going into this year were unrealistic. We lost three number one picks on offense, and our quarterback was a first year starter. The defense remains a work in progress, but it has improved. Having said that, we must keep our recruiting class together and hit big in the portal, or we will struggle again next year.

I agreed with Kelly's desire to build a program by recruiting. Unfortunately, the greed I was concerned about has come to the surface. Seems like teams have to be completely rebuilt each year and $$$$ is the most important factor. I don't like it but its the reality of our times.

He's unimpressive in the year he said things would be rocking and rolling. We're all relieved that LSU beat a scrappy Vandy team. Says a lot.

All that was before NIL which unless you’re selling looks, LSU had nothing. Y’all think that those women are making money from LSU. So stupid. First it was against the law until last season and second the average fan isn’t donating to the fund like some schools because they think TAF is enough. Then there is the entire replace a QB, receivers and center. He has some talent that needs more development like Chester, Weeks, Stamps and all those freshman that are playing which I’m excited about. This was an 8-4 year like several of us predicted as did a lot of publications. 7-5 to 9-3. That’s where reasonable people were which is why the line was 8 wins.

Nobody thought you’d see 3 Olinemen out and RS freshmen play like versus UF. Funny how having Dellinger and Frazier back made a difference.

Our fanbase is absolutely ridiculous and awful for the most part. This has been a bad year, the team seemed to be lost. Our fanbase overhyped a qb who seemed to not have learned a thing sitting behind a heisman winning qb. Our defense is still a shell of itself (i 100% blame Kelly for this). But in the end our offense is absolutely not what anyone expected it to be. Nuss has been garbage. Last night was the first time he actually worked the pocket this entire year. It was also the first time he checked the ball down to his backs. A lot of this is on Kelly but you have a lot of players out there who aren’t performing and a lot of it is just situational football. Lacy is also trash. But, somehow Lane kiffen is some sort of coach we should fire Kelly for, he just lost to the same team we did, and he lost to Kelly. Bama and KD just got their arse kicked by a horrible OU team. A&M just lost to a horrible Auburn team. It’s an odd year in the SEC. Kelly hasn’t been great this year but imo they finally got the staff around him to do something. They need to spend some money and get some receivers, a transfer qb, and spend a ton of money on defense. Our defense is still undersized and bad but the scheme is good imo.

I think he is, he’s still a better coach then O or Les was, however, I don’t think he’ll ever have the accolades to prove it

There’s none

There won’t be any major programs winning multiple titles like bama ever again. The more nil money there is, the more parity there will be

Details is where he lacks. Last night was a perfect example

It’s almost unimaginable Kelly didn’t have prevent punt coverage on in 4th quarter up by 2 TD’s. I mean that was the only thing Vandy could do at that point to stay in the game.

Dude must be preoccupied with a side piece or golf or something.

Unbelievable

Program standards evaporated with Ed O’s final two seasons. Couple that with Brian Kelly and that he has proven he cannot win championships at this level. That’s where we are…….

I think he is. I was impressed with the hire at the time. Shows how much I knew. He doesn’t seem to belong with the big dogs.
