Is Kelly a Better Coach Than Saban?

He had a higher winning percentage at northern schools than Saban. He is having a better first year in the SEC than Saban. He’s going to beat Saban in Nov and force him into retirement. He’ll make it to an sec championship a year earlier than Saban did, making him marginally better. Kelly is the better coach and our dynasty is beginning while their’s is ending.

If Kelly wins next Saturday then he is definitively better.
Saban is only good because he’s been at SEC schools. He was mediocre at Michigan St and Toledo.

At this moment in time we cannot say anyone is better than Saban as a college coach.
Kelly is an elite coach and will have great success here, no doubt about it. Hopefully he can win a couple of nattys

No. There are two things that Saban has that Kelly will never have. That’s the REC and the SEC offices in his back yard which mean friendly officials.

No. We can revisit this convo when Kelly gets to 5 championships. Kelly is a very successful coach but Saban is the GOAT.

Just a couple weeks ago people here were calling for Kelly to be fired. Now he wins a couple games and he's better than Saban. Do you guys every think before posting?
