Didn’t we lose to Texas tech by 30 with Dedan Thomas?

Just like you always miss the mark, the complaint has always been the fact McMahon was going to lose with or without the two.

Losing great players is a big deal for winners like Will Wade.

Where did I say that? Your reading comprehension is atrocious.

You made my point for me. Thanks.

Also 0-3 in the SEC games Thomas played in before he got “hurt”

If 17-55 doesn’t drive home this point, then nothing will. The elevator doesn’t go to the top floor with these wackos.

I guess you could make that point. You must think a kid that's been out of basketball for 2 years is willing to sit the bench(again) for a 3rd year so he can get his degree and be apart of a winning culture? Do you think Jalen could take his game to the next level? Why wouldn't he just stay at LSU? He was open to coming back.

BYU lost to unranked Cincinnati by 22 with the #1 draft pick on their roster, what's your point?

Definitely not a fact. Do you know what a fact is?

Yet here comes Thomas leading one of the top programs in the country now. I guess Sampson should've reconsidered his choice for a PG.

Bingo.

No one said they were bad players. It just neither were good enough to make McMahon a winning HC. That's not a knock on the players. NO ONE would be good enough to make McMahon a winning SEC coach. The constant refrain from the McMahon apologists was that "but for the injury to those two guys" LSU would have been a winning team....despite 3 years of being the worst program in the SEC.

Nevertheless, the Charle Brown of college basketball is still out there without a team to coach. If the marketplace thought he was a great HC who was just a victim of "bad luck" surely another program would have taken advantage of LSU and swooped in to grab its underappreciated coach. Particularly once LSU made it clear they didn't want him. But what actually happened is because there was absolutely no market for McMahon he was forced to watch from the corner while LSU openly worked and ultimately did replace him.

17-55 has nothing to do with it, otherwise we would be seeing them go to worse programs, instead they got plucked by far better ones

Matt McMahon loses many games by double digits whether or not his roster is healthy. That’s a fact :)

Reed played in nearly 50 (48) games against major conf. opponents before he was injured vs. FSU. LSU went 15-33 in those games.

Thomas played in 6 games vs. major conf. opponents last year. LSU went 2-4 in those games.

Again, neither were "bad" players, and no one said as much. It just that neither was good enough elevate McMahon to a winning coach and the actual number reflect just that.

What’s funny is we’ve been losing players to better programs the entire time MM has been here but the mcmen always argued the opposite of what they’re arguing now. If he were still here they’d be arguing the same but since he isn’t they’ve done another 180.

McMen are so sad their sorry arse leader has vanished like a fart in the wind, so they have to "doomsday diarrhea" Wade LOL. I cant wait for game one in the PMAC with the MF GENERAL back at the helm.

What’s even more telling is this was all predicted, every year since MM season 1 the offseason has been predicted and they do it anyway then pretend they don’t. It’s bizarre how delusional they are.

Who said that? Pretty sure most people on here realized once those 2 got hurt LSU's season was over before it began.

Certainly not the idiot assholes I interacted with. Of course, they know better than the coach of the reigning national champions.
