I'm no longer angry with O. He made up for the Canada to Ensminger "thing" with the hiring of Joe Brady. I'm now sky high on O. It's just the way it is. He has shown me that unlike Miles, he is the exact opposite of stubborn. He wants what I want: to be on the cutting edge. It's beautiful.

Coach Os decision to bring in Brady and fully open the offense is a better decision than ANY decision Miles made during his tenure.

You don't think retaining Jimbo as OC or hiring Pelini are comparable? Don't get me wrong, I love me some Joe Brady, but those were good hires as well.

No because I think miles had multiple years that were better coached than some of the years in the saban era.
Then you're an idiot who thinks the W/L column is all you need to be informed.

Saban was a better coach than Miles has EVER been...…...BEFORE Saban even showed up to LSU.

He didn't discover how to coach when he showed up to Bama.

It’s much more fun when you pretend you didn’t say it.

I think what miles did in 2005 with much of the state in disarray and no bye weeks was head and shoulders above Saban’s coaching in 2004.

That's right. Miles' coaching is nowhere near Saban's. There is no debating it.

Not to mention the obvious. We FIRED Les Miles.

We had some great years in the Miles era but he had his fair share of coaching blunders. Clock management was terrible. We were lucky to just out talent a lot of teams (credit to him for recruiting)

It isn’t even debatable, rob. Not sure what you are laughing at.

I really don't think I've seen a more pathetic display on this site.

No one gives a single solitary frick about all your lists and bookmarks, and you think you have people worried about what you'll post. It's hilarious and sad all at once.

One ended with 9 wins and the other in the SECCG. What is so funny about that?

Miles's '05 was easily a better coaching job than Saban's 04. Not sure why you're laughing at that one.

Did you know Bill Belickick was 36-44 with the Browns?

He didn't know how to coach back then.

After 3 seasons with the Pats, he was 25-23. Total moron.

Hmmm I may have to chew on that one. I do remember that sorry arse 2004 team. We had no quarterback. Saban was caught with his pants down (didn't get it done in developing Jamarcus). Development is a humongous part of coaching.

But, the question isn't about who is the better coach overall. It's about who did a better job in a given year. It's two seperate things.
