With LSU dropping to two I can see the committee putting them at 5 with a loss to Georgia. The committee would probably put a one loss conference champ over LSU.

Yes. Of course Georgia is a must win. Why give the committee ANY reason to boot you?

Well be 0-0 going into that game. Need to get that 1-0.

It always was a must win. The one-loss scenarios were fantasies.

OK, say that happens, UGA is definitely in and assuming tOSU and Clemson win out that's 3. Who do you see the committee putting at 4? Here are your choices : 12-1 LSU :12-1 OU or Baylor, 12-1 Utah, 11-1 Alabama.

I agree LSU would be the better team and more deserving than any. But o could see them clowns rewarding a one loss conference champ.

No. I broke it all down here. The only scenario LSU gets left out is maybe Minnesota wins out and LSU loses to Georgia.

LSU is in with a win vs A&M and a loss in the SEC championship, assuming Georgia beats Georgia Tech.

In that scenario we will have wins against #9, #7, #9, and #3, with our one loss to (at least) #4 Georgia (in Atlanta).

The playoff at that point would be:

1. Ohio State
2. Clemson
3. Georgia
4. LSU

No other one-loss team will have that resume, which includes the Heisman trophy winner. You can try and complicate it all you want, but if we win this weekend we are in.

Georgia is, was, and always has been a must-win.

Don't leave it to chance.

Nobody on the national stage is buying that Texas was a win over #9 anymore. Great win by the Tigers, but that ship has sailed.

Just keep winning and don’t give them the option.

Exactly!! In this sense this statement is 100% the truth, but in reality if LSU shows up at the SEC championship 12-0 then they are in regardless. There is not a team with 1 loss that would have a better resume than LSU. Neither Utah or OU even with a pac12 or big12 championship would have the resume that LSU has.

Nope. 1 loss LSU will get in over 1 loss Utah and 1 loss Bama.
The SECCG will determine if we play OSU, Clemson, or Utah (pending other outcomes).
