So I urge you today to renew the Mainieri contract and keep our Tiger family intact.

You remind me of the families that have a dog with intestinal cancer and they keep him alive because of how you will feel, not how the dog feels.

s Firing Paul Mainieri Our Best Decision?

Last week, I was told that he would announce his retirement after the Auburn series. The bama game will be his Farewell. His announcement should be coming soon. Like real real soon.

I realize that, but isn't that a big part of how we ultimately judge the season? How we finish in the NCAA Tournament? We essentially made it to the Sweet 16 in 2019.

2018 to now our best finish so far was to win a regional.
The worst finish of the prior six seasons (2913-2017) was losing a regional.
The best finish of the prior six seasons was a CWS final.

Obviously we have declined. It hadn’t been a straight line decline, but it has been a decline.

The number of teams who go 3+ times per decade has been nearly the exact same the last 4 decades but keep acting like parity has drastically increased these last 10 years.

In the last 9 seasons (with the 10th disrupted due to Covid) 9 different teams have won a title. 9 seasons, 9 teams. In the 20 seasons before that, 12 of the 20 titles were won by just 5 teams. 60% of the titles over two decades won by only 5 teams. 30% by just one team. One team, 30%, two decades.

No act, all it takes is common sense and the ability to read to see parity has drastically increased.

Kramer is a former baseball player that had more opportunity to play than any other player in the history of LSU baseball even though he was one of the worst. All because of who his mama was. He did eventually become one of LSU's better players in that time frame.

If PM does not announce that he will retire before this weekend series, the stadium should be EMPTY. If he does, pack the BOX.

I know most of the players parents were not sending him any Christmas presents.

The only reason Reid didn't bad mouth PM was because he got to play again. Just another reason PM should be long gone.

great mentor, great father-figure.

I have it from Kramer’s own dad that Paul plays favorites, and doesn’t give a shite about half the team.

Skip won 5 championships in what? 11 years or whatever. CPM won one a long time ago with players that were already there.

College baseball is completely different now.

No comparison to gorrilla ball and today.

No College baseball program has more than 2 or so ships in last 20 years.

Pauls record is as good as anyone in the last 20 years.

We just have spoiled arse fans.

it is very false.
LSU baseball recruits the good players we do get. PM causes more to go somewhere else that would love to play for LSU than any he brings in because they want to play for him
I was told by one of his top players a couple of years ago that most of his players despise him. He told me a couple of stories that made me cringe.
It is time for PM to go and LSU to get fresh blood and enthusiasm back in the program. Let's don't do with PM what we did with LM....delay the inevitable.

Too late for that. Should've been gone after the Supers loss at home to FSU
