Not sure what 2 games he would cost us playing over Daniels because we may lose all the rest except UAB.
Kelly already looks beat down after only playing 2 SEC games. This is not ND where you play one, maybe 2, ranked teams a year.

The gauntlet part of the schedule is up, if Daniels doesn’t show improvement and we start losing bad, you have to try to develop the next guy don’t you? Or have we gone full circle back to CLM and JJ?

Nussmieer shouldn’t ever start a game at qb for lsu so why the frick would “risk losing and extra game or two” to develop him?

One of the dumber things I’ve seen on here lately .

No. Developing him for what? Howard is the future.

Daniels legs put us in good positions. He struggled this game passing. Most, or at least some of us played sports, didn't we have games where we weren't our best? It was a team win. Howard and Nuss are our future. But Daniels is our best option for winning right now, obviously, according to Coach K and his staff.

Why not continue to develop JD? If Nuss can improve as a passer, then so can JD. One is not exclusive of the other. And Nuss will never be the runner that JD is right now.

How long has Daniels been a starter? Yet he has not improved as a passer. Dude has peaked. Stop pretending he’s a good qb

No, because there is no point in developing Nuss. He will never be the Day 1 starter here.

If that is the logic and approach for them to take it would make more sense to let Howard out there

I have a idea, even the commentators last night talked about JD being a two minute qb. For some reason he only plays good when it's two minute offense.
How about start playing someone else someone else more throughout the quarter (throughout the game), and bring Daniels in for two minute offense. Couldn't hurt to experiment.

K looks like an alcoholic on the sideline, he's red as hell and looks like his blood pressure is sky high! LOL I think he's feeling the pressure of being at a major program and not being realistic about his first year here.

Did you not watch any games while he was at ND?

He looks almost relaxed compared to his Notre Dame days.

I THINK nuss has to relax and let the game come to him. He gets flustered, until that is corrected he will never be a starter.

JD has had over 30 starts . He is 25 years old . Still can’t see the whole field , throws late , is afraid to throw the ball . At some point , you have to say … this dog can’t hunt ! Nuss has never started . Potentially more upside if he doesn’t press . It’s worth a try .

He likely needs a one read, split field, or "Levels" progression reads (short to deep) to cure the happy feet and slow the SEC game down a notch.

Otherwise why do we care if Nussmeier struggles? There's nothing Realistically they could play for.
