He showed up at the pre draft workouts out of shape and made a terrible impression.

Not so sure he is even a great athlete anymore

Bombed combine and checked out of pro day
That cost him more than anything
The tape don’t lie from the season either
Sad thing is if he opted out like the wr from Ohio st all but did he may have been drafted by. Now

you had me at entire body of work

Lazy, that is why he fell.

Seemed like at some point Boutte fell out of alignment.
Once he got himself “aligned” late in the season, his productivity increased.
He has the skills and talent to be successful in the NFL. It’s up to him to convince GM’s and coaches he will put in the work.

Probably because he thought he was bigger than the team.

Jenkins could be drafted before Boutte. His work ethics were always top notch.

He fell for MANY reasons

Or just lack of playing at LSU during pandemic and post injury
Or because he's below avg by NFL standards.....

Sorry, but nobody likes a quitter! Just repeating what Deuce and the Saints radio team were saying on the radio last night.

Should’ve went to Bama and caught passes from the number 1 pick instead of a RB at LSU.

Above the shoulders is his issue. Not talent but desire.

He’s falling because it looks like he doesn’t give a frick about football.
I think He’s a first round talent but he’s out there throwing out red flags like the confetti cannons after a Super Bowl

underwhelming workout results.
This is the reason. He tested poorly and cost him.
To me, it's more than that. A bad workout and prep shows he doesn't really give a suite. If he can't even show up for himself, do you think he would show up for the team when they need you.
All those things come into play. These scouts have every piece of info about boutte.
Kinda reminds me of the Darrius guide rumors before the draft. They ended up being true.

Right. Running a bad 40 at the combine is one thing. Spending a month doing nothing and not running again at your pro day?
That’s bad
That’s bad

Who will be drafted first? Eli Ricks or Boutte?

His father is responsible for his fall from glory! Blew smoke up his arse since he was 16 yrs old...I wanted kid to go to IMG and learn to be a pro...Coach Ryan Antoine and his dad thought they knew everything and they where going to cash in on his fame....now they cashing out on his flameout!
