In fairness this team has done this multiple times with Wade at the helm also.

This is straight up the players. Everyone was doing what they do well before and now they're failing to do that. Javonte lost it driving, Reid can't block without fouling now, waters is missing, mays is hurt, Emmitt and bigsy are fine but still.

LSU did this in almost every game they played this year, should have blown a team out then let them back in the game. I don’t think it has anything to do with Benford.

This team, all season, has had slow starts in the second half and letting teams back into the game after overwhelming a team in the first.

With that said...in a close game (talent wise and score) against a good coach (I.e. Mich St or Duke) LSU’s coaching will be their undoing.

Irrelevant question?

The whole team looks like a deer in headlights.

A 10 year old rec league player can see it.

Yes.

He just doesn’t have the ability to identify and make changes to maintain the advantage we have. And worse, we may be at a tactical disadvantage now.

We knew this.

NO, he is the best coach of all time, make him the head coach immediately, pay whatever he wants, back up the brinks truck, order a statue of him, and make him the interim AD as well.

The Tigers are pretty fortunate Yale is having such an awful shooting day. If they're just average from three today, it'd be big big trouble.

How anemic is this 2nd half? WTF. How can that even be the same team that played the 1st half?

Maybe. I think we started the slow down game way too early. But if one of those threes we shoot falls, this game is a bit more out of reach.

I don’t think this is all on Tony. Besides, Yale is pretty good. They are smaller, but also couldn’t buy a bucket in the first half. They’ve started to click when we slowed down and missed.
