York has had some issues of late. I'm worried that a missed field goal or extra point may make the difference in this game.

It's a legit concern going into the game.

Their punt returner is also a threat. I wouldn’t give him a chance.

I'm not super confident. I'm fairly sure the coaching staff isn't either when you punt from the 35. I hope he can figure it out with a quickness.

Our entire special teams was really sub par against Auburn. That's scary. Those are the hidden yards that you can't afford to not have locked down in a game like this.

The good thing is that Bama always had bad kickers. I would love to see Bama’s Kicker continue to struggle next Saturday. Also, do not kick it to Whaddle or he is going to take it to the house.

I'm not as worried about it as I was against Auburn. I think we'll have an easier time getting in the endzone against Bama's defense. Need to make all of PAs though.

Bamas kicker and punter suck, so having ours play up to their potential would really give us an edge there.

York is 11/13 on FGs. Bama kickers are a combined 9/14.

No doubt it is obvious last game CEO had no faith

I have concerns too. The question is, would CEO be aggressive on 4th and 1 inside the 30-50 or punt?

Their kicker has a hip problem I believe, we're ok.

Big difference in going up against Bo Nix compared to going up against Tua. I’d have to think Ed would either kick a FG or go for it if inside the 35 but too far away to be confident in a FG.

Against Auburn it made perfect sense that the first team to 24 wins, and to not take unnecessary chances (turned out first to 21 won but you get the point). That same approach likely doesn’t work against Bama.

Cream usually rises to the top. I think this is the game where Tiger fans get to say “boy I’m glad we have our kicker instead of theirs.”

He missed a 53 yard FG against Utah State and a 44 yard FG against Florida. He has made a long of 48 and is 11/13 overall. By comparison Cole Tracy was 29 of 33 on FGs with misses from 42 vs Auburn, 53 vs Ole Miss, 33 vs Bama, and 49 vs aTm, .

He missed 1 XP against Auburn and that was a snap/holder issue, 1 vs Moo State and 1 vs Northwestern State. 45/48 on the year. For comparison Cole Tracy kicked 42 of 42 XPs last year

I'm not really concerned unless we need a long field goal.

if we are kicking fgs against bama we are in trouble. Also their kicker always sucks so its still an advantage for us or a wash

Absolutely he's 50/50 at best here on out. The xtra point was him going crazy and kicking the top of the ball. After the bobble ZVR got it down in time to kick but he had already freaked out. Will cost us in at least one game this year.

I’m worried about him kicking in every game! The yips have definitely got him down.
