10 wins including the bowl should be a reasonable goal for the 2022 LSU Tigers.

It will be more of a culture and mindset rebuild than a skills rebuild. Those are usually more difficult and a talent rebuild.

Truth is that outside of bama there isn’t a team on our schedule next year that is not rebuilding in some kind of way.

What is a realistic expectation in this first year? Will we lose a bad one like to UAB or an ugly one to Troy St?? Will we go 11-1 and make the playoffs? What is realistic?
Reshaping the program...
I'm thinking 8-4, maybe 7-5 or 9-3.

Bad losses to Alabama (talent) and Ole Miss (Kiffin taking advantage). Probably lose to A&M, might lose to Arkansas and Miss State.
Auburn and Florida will be must-wins.

I mean, right now, we're looking at probably having a solid D line, and a decent WR group if Boutte comes back strong. QB is complete question mark, RB is average, linebackers total guesswork, average secondary. OL is potentially better. That doesn't sound like a 10 win team.

If we go 8-4 next year this board is going to explode and want BK gone. Even though 8-4 is realistic.

Yes and No. yes because we’re rebuilding a culture here. No because I have lot of confidence in the athletes we currently have on the team. If we can get good Oline play and a QB that’s not wildly inconsistent, we can very easily go 10-2.

The only thing I know for sure is that we will win at least 6 games.
Will we only win 6? Will we win 11?

We will find out that answer during the month of October.

Yes. The program has to be rebuilt culturally and honestly we just need to reload talent. This signing class is small and the roster is pretty small too. I think BK & staff will work on developing the young players in 22 and we will get an absolutely monster recruiting class going for next year

Are you kidding? Of course it’s a rebuild. It’s a ground-up rebuild. It’s going to take 3 years to get us back into a competitive state. We are in for the long haul.

"Decent" is a major understatement. Best in the SEC if Boutte is healthy

We are two years away from being back at the top with Alabama. O left this roster a complete dumpster fire.

Depends who we bring in through the portal. Michigan State brought in a ton of portal talent and went 10-2.

I am setting my expectations at 7-5, I will be really happy with 8-4, anything 9-3 and better and I am going to be calling for a NC in 2023

Kelly doesn't have 3 years for a rebuild. If he is .500 or under 2 years from now it will be ugly.
