I was born in Opelousas and our family of 14 Cajun cooking grandmothers and grandfathers have a reunion in Eunice just west of Opelousas. God’s country out there. I’ll meet anyone at the Sonic who says otherwise.

I’ve always wondered this as well. Brennan always follows him around but doesn’t seem to be engaged at all.

Good reason why Brennan won't start next year. Gotta be a student of the game and stay humble enough to pay attention and learn while you aren't playing.

I have not once seen Brennan on the headset and I have had the same concern as the caller all season. It made him appear to be aloof. If it’s simply an oversight then that is embarrassing, in my opinion.

I think there is a rule about how many headsets you can have on the sideline.

Brennan puts on a head set when he and Burrow are on the phones with the press box. Primarily right when JB comes off the field to discuss what is happening. After that conversation both Brennan and Burrow take the head sets off to talk to the rest of the players that don’t get on the headsets. Brennan is always right there. When Burrow is on the field the other QBs are on the headsets to get the play from the press box and signal it in to Burrow. Since Brennan knows all the signals, because he is only one play away, he just looks and the play being signaled in and he knows exactly what play is being called. Quit being such an idiot with your judgement of someone when you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. FIFY

There can only be one starting QB on every team. That starting QB gets EVERYTHING tailored to him. The scheme, the system, the play calling, down to the players on the field at times. So the back up QB is just that until he is the starter and then everything is tailored to him and so on.
Brennan will be great.
