we need to rattle him by knocking his dick in the dirt a couple times. He has barely been touched this year.

That is the key to this game. If we can get in his head, get him out of his comfort zone, we can definitely win this game !

No offense, but I’m tired of over analyzing this game. I can’t wait for these teams to go to war. Saturday night is going to be fun

Well the alternative is to actually be productive at work...Which is basically impossible at this point

Aranda loves putting his CBs in press coverage, man to man. They are talented.

I don’t think Aranda will go blitz crazy.

agreed. make them eat clock on long drives. if we blitz and he torches us for quick scores we will be in a huge hole.

I agree!! I'm scared to death of the Bama run game this week! If they watched Georgia first quarter, watch out! Their RB's are fresh as a dadgum daisy too!!

clock control and game management. I wouldn't be surprised if we take a shot down field on a first down or two, but most of the play calling will be quick slants, screens, runs, and RPOs designed to get 4 or 5 yards here and there. Probably see less of the hurry up. I know Ed's game plan involves keeping Tua on the sideline as much as possible.

This is why they took Devin White out with the fake targeting, they know it will be harder to commit more resources to pass defense with him out.

Non-Calls for illegal touching or offensive pass interference. Or holding by the OLine/blocking backs. Usually a combination of all 3 being overlooked

There’s a reason the SEC took out Devin White

I think their gameplan will be to run on us. Then use Tua when we are expecting run.

Shortening the game is fine but in the end both teams get the same amount of possessions, it's what you do with those possessions that matters most.

If the games over in the 2nd quarter it's not because you did or didn't shorten the game

Not one team has put any pressure on Tua this year. We gotta put a hat on that mofo like the Giants did Tom Brady in those super bowls. Hit him and keep hitting him.

Great point he throws from angles and his release point is low. Keep him in the pocket and get your hands up when he throw...

The ones who understand college football are. Bandwagoners probably not.

LSU has to win the battle on the line of scrimmage. This will allow us to run any game plan they wish to run. Like most teams, expect Alabama to load the box to stop the run and make LSU beat them throwing the ball. If LSU can control the line of scrimmage they can maintain possession of the ball for long drives and eat up the clock. Our lineman have to be more physical than Alabama lineman. LSU has to put pressure on the QB and force him into an uncomfortable role so he makes mistakes. They cant allow him to run out of the pocket and must show him exotic blitz package. LSU cant afford to have any mental breakdowns in fundamental assignments. Each player has to know what they are doing and be where they are supposed to be. WR have to show up big time for this game. Older boxer had a saying, "you won't beat the champ on points, you had to go in and whip him and take the title from him". When Alabama beat LSU for the national title their motto was "Order restored". They came in and beat the contender and left nothing to debate. LSU has to do the same on Saturday night. Leave nothing to debate, prove LSU is the better team.

Aranda confused the he'll out of Fromm, who is way more experienced than Tua. We'll show man, then drop to zone. We'll show the same look later and it may or may not be zone.

Edited: to correct fricking auto-correct mistake.

2016 UGA had some pretty good DBs that Tua faced in the CFPCG
To be fair it's hard to guard WRs that get a head start.

Their run game is my fear as well. I believe we can handle the passing. But if we concentrate too hard on stopping Tua, they may continually gash us in the run game. It would be great if Shelving could come up big with Alexander and stuff the middle of the line.
