Wait...what? That place more often than not reads like Alex Jones is admining the fricking place... If you're triggered by the minuscule number of "lefties" in THIS SITE then your skin must be paper thin.

You're right...it doesn't mean that.

It's also 100% false, so there's that.

Where do these people come from?? Demonize LSU without offering real solutions for the actual problem, which has nothing to do with LSU.

Please remove the link. Can't stand the thought of making this guy look good for writing that op ed piece where he did NO RESEARCH whatsoever. He's being a contrarian to stir the pot because he's not good at actual articles.

Have you ever been to the poli board?

Lol, no.

I know you weren't talking to me, but after one look at the OT I can imagine what the poli board must look like.

So now I guess he will probably want the statue of Mike torn down too?

I would like to ask him how he feels about Audubon Zoo right there in his own back yard. The facilities provided for the LSU mascot beat ANYTHING in that zoo by a looooong shot.

If people see the majesty and beauty of a real tiger up close, they are more likely to support causes that preserve them in the wild. So, having a rescue tiger for all to appreciate actually helps preserve them.

This is the problem of feeling the need to argue with idiots like this reporter regarding the facts in play. EVEN IF what you wrote was not a 100% fact (and I'd say it certainly is) it would still be 100% IRRELEVANT to whether or not LSU's Tiger should be in the wild.

The issues isn't "Well...should we have Tigers as pets or allow them to roam freely and safely in their home environment where they are completely safe from being wiped out?" What a strawman argument.

The actual issue is much closer to, "Well...Tigers are all but gone in the wild and while there are things we can do to help preserve them somewhat we'll almost certainly never be able to get them back to the numbers they once were given human encroachment on their territories...so we better do something to keep the species alive and viable or else they are gonna go extinct. So...do we keep them in shitty road side gas stations OR allow them to be taken care of like a king and cared for by one of the best veterinarian set ups in the nation for big cats?"

Oh...and even if this was a case of tigers now being safe in the wild...THIS ONE would never be since it was born and raised in captivity. So it's about as moot a fricking point as there can be.

So why does LSU feel that it has to have a live tiger to present a "graphic image" of his sports teams?

Because this is Muthafrickin America, and we can. So we will.
If the animal was going to be tortured or mistreated, you would have a case. Certainly is not the case here.

There is absolutely nothing interesting about that. What's the fricking argument? That LSU has no right to rescue a tiger from a 6'x6' cage and give home the best Tiger enclosure on planet Earth, dedicated vet care, and fed like a king? He would die if released to the wild. Anyone that sees a problem with an already captive Tiger getting an upgraded life in every way is just plain stupid.

What a loser post... That tiger is only 11 months old and he still probably has bigger balls than you.

Damn man if you really think you've got a large contingent of people on the left around this area or this site, you need to make sure you stay in this neck of the woods because I think your head would explode if you went elsewhere
