1986 when I transferred to LSU without ever seeing the campus or knowing anything about the school other than the fact that I WANTED to be there. Before that I was a Bama fan due to the fact that both my parents were from Bama and I grew up watching them on TV and attending games with them. Now I have two degrees from LSU, meet people from Louisiana everywhere I go, enjoy the LSU Family that I meet EVERYWHERE and have converted many to the LSU fanbase here in Colorado. Believe me to all of you who hate CBS; it is the best tool to bring our school more money, recruitment and quality students than anything else we do. Geaux Tigers, Geaux LSU, Geaux Louisiana and most importantly Geaux Les Miles.

I was born the morning of the Tennessee game in 1988 which the Tigers won 34-9, so I would say I've been a fan since birth. My mom tells me after I was born we all watched the game in the hospital.

Went to my first game in 1953 at the age of 8
Brother had tickets in North end zone and his son still has them today. So they have been in their family for at least 58 years.

I really didn't get started until skip bertman and the baseball team started their winning ways early 90's.

I remember in high school if you wore anything LSU everyone laughed unless if was LSU Baseball attire. I remember hearing I hope your an LSU Baseball fan because everything else at LSU sucks.

1948 or 49. Brother at LSU and brought me down to see the NC game (with Charlie 'Choo-Choo' Justice.

Fell in love with Tiger stadium and never considered any other place to go.

I also fell in a pile of Mike 1 tiger shite. They were cleaning his cage and my brother jumped over the drainage and I tried to follow suit and didn't make it. Feet hit the goo and slipped out from under me and I fell backward into the shite.

Got a new set of clothes out of the deal tho.

1967.

My neighbor's big brother played for LaGrange in Lake Charles and got a scholarship offer from LSU.

Simultaneously, I became a huge fan of Tommy Casanova, Mike Hillman, Maurice LeBlanc, Andy Hamilton, Art Cantrelle etc. from watching the Charlie McClendon show on Sunday mornings.

81' against Florida State is the first game I can remember being at as a kid, although I know I went to some prior (was 5). I think the 85' season was the first where I remember waiting for LSU football season to start, not just going to games or to parents friends house and running around all game like my balls were on fire. So I guess 85', I kinda got it.

Well since nobody in my family was Into sports, I didn't start watching any until 2004. Some guy told me about how LSU won the championship so I started from there. Same year with Saints and 2005 with Steelers.
