My father attended LSU in the 50's. I was born in 1961; started listening to the games in 1969: Casanova, Cantrelle, Estay, Duhe...been hooked ever since. Live in Indianapolis now and just got back from Baton Rouge to watch the Florida home game. Great tailgating and even better game!

Almost ditto of SECTiger 1 post except both parents attended LSU in the 50s and I was born in 1963. First memories listening to WWL from Montgomery, Alabama in late 1960s and attending LSU/Bama games at Legion Field around age 6 or 7

Born in 1961 and became a fan in 1965 when my dad took me to my first LSu game which was against Tulane. Been a die hard fan ever since. Thanks Dad.

Halloween 1959. I was 8 years old - I had a cold and my mom wouldn't let me go trick or treating. I listened to WWL broadcast LSU vs Ole Miss and it started a love for all things LSU that burns strong 52 years later.

1997... I always followed LSU, but I went to the UF game with some friends that were in school at LSU. I've been hooked ever since!

I grew up in Jersey, I didn't move to LA until I was a sophomore in high school. Before that the only knowledge I had of LSU sports was watching them get destroyed by Florida St. in some game on ESPN back in the 80's and my friend coming up to me in freshman study hall to tell about some phenom named Shaquille O'Neal.

When I moved here, I had no care, let alone allegiance to anything LSU. I chose to go to LSU only because it was relatively close to home and my scholarship paid for everything. Until the eleventh hour, I thought I was going to Florida. I wasn't even really much of a fan my freshman year of college. I remember the atmosphere/fun of the "Bring Back the Magic" game against Auburn is what hooked me into letting the purple and gold start flowing thru me. So I guess my long winded answer is '95.

i have a cousin that lives in lafayette. when we were kids, she would come to oklahoma and stay with my grandparents for the summer. my soph year in h.s. (1993) she started dating jeff boss's nephew. she brought me an LSU that summer, since then i've been a fan. I also played basball and our school colors were purple and gold, so that made it pretty easy to like them.

Must have been around 1965 or so. I don't remember ever not being a Tiger fan.

Birth 1954. My dad was an avid fan. To be honest, as far back as I can remember. My grand children now are saying geaux tigers! And they are too young to know what it means. That is how I grew up.

I was a junior in high school, my brother's freshman year in 2000. He got me an "upgraded" student ticket for the MSU game that year. Back then the student tickets weren't computer print outs, they were regular ticket stock. The ticket office put an orange sticker on the ticket to denote I didn't need an i.d. I still have that ticket in a lock box, along with some of my other favorite ones since. MSU was ranked, we won it in OT. Been die hard since.
