1972 - Bert Jones to Brad Davis - first game I can remember listening to on the radio with my dad. I don't quite remember the great 1971 SEC Championship season although I'm sure my family made me a 'fan'.

1957, I was eleven years old. I started listening to LSU on WWL from NewOrleans. I do remember not going trick or treating and listening to the LSU/Ole Miss game and Billy Cannon's 89 yard punt return. Games on TV were rare in those days. If you got into a bowl game you were on TV. Also remember Paul Dietzel saying he would never leave LSU and I think he leaves the next year of Army, his dream job.

1971. I was a ninth grader in the Virgin Islands. I read a Sports Illustrated article about the Alabama-LSU game (we lost), but there was something that hit me in my soul. I graduated from LSU in 1979.

1977(born in '70). Remember listening to the LSU-Rice game with my dad and reading the Sunday paper the next morning as LSU crushed Rice 77-0. Carlos Carson had 5 receptions for 201 yards with all 5 going for touchdowns. Have been hooked ever since.

My dad and I used to listen to the voice of the Tigers John Ferguson in the late 60's. Great memories to say the least.

My first visit to TS was in '68 to watch a "freshmen game" between LSU and OM (there were three players from my small town in that game - 2 for OM and 1 for LSU; this was before freshmen were allowed to play on the varsity squad).

My first real game was LSU-A&M in '70. 20-18 loss for us.
