I've been a fan since when a family member started working there. So since he started which was before I was born my whole life. But since I'm not from the southeast I didnt really start following it until like I do now until I got to high school so about six years ago

1980. Hated LSU before that. I grew up in a Tulane family despising LSU. 1980 was when I first visited the campus, then transferred from UNO to LSU.

Pigs Could Fly Game.
LSU vs Alabama 1993.
I was born in 1981, but never really grew up following LSU football. I followed the Saints religiously in my elementary school years.
Really started following LSU, Gerry Dinardo's first year. 1995.
Went to my first game 1998, LSU vs Georgia (damn Quincy Carter and Champ Bailey).
...but the 1993 LSU Alabama game was a very distinct memory of me actively/emotionally invested in cheering for the Tigers.

1973 is my first memory of LSU football.
I'm not sure if my first game at Tiger stadium was 73 or 74, but I think 74.
My first away game was 77.
I graduated from LSU in 89.
I grew up listening to away games on the radio.
I lived and died on every play.
Still do.
LSU football is the great love of my life.

1968 when I couldn't wear my LSU sweat shirt on vacation until we reached the Smokies. I then refused to wear anything else. I think that made my Dad proud.
