I’m all for making a move to another coach if an absolute stud is ready to come here and commit to coaching this program. A lot going on the last 2 years is inexcusable but below is a few things that really threw a wrench in our progression -

Put together the best team and staff of all time in 2019... followed by a mass exodus of Talent, rightfully so

Lost both coordinators

Wife running on him, forced to divorce

Covid season, big opt outs

Starting QB gets hurt both seasons

Best DB in country that you counted on can’t stay healthy

Starting running back not cleared by NCAA before first game (self inflicted)

Breaking in new coordinators, new qb, very young team

We need after 19 it would be a few rough years to build back but he has had a lot of unfortunate things happen that are out of his control.. some self inflicted.

I think next year Is the real barometer with a junior qb, more depth and coordinators with a year under their belt. Playoff expectations or move on.

Ok so?

Covid only affected LSU right?

Get the frick outta here. He's gone. He isn't getting another shot unless he goes undefeated the rest of the way or somehow finds a way to beat Bama and he isn't going to do that.

Whoever you hire isn’t going undefeated in the next 2 years either. You realize that huh?

Of course I realize that. O put us in a shite position to have to rebuild from. Exactly why should we trust him to get us out of the mess he put us in

The coach runs one of the biggest college football programs in the country. It’s a hard job. He’s responsible for all that transpires from staffing to recruiting to coaching. The more successful the program, the more likely staff will move on to bigger & better. Our coach is not unique to any of the listed issues. The fact remains that he’s fumbling through his decisions & making embarrassing mistakes that are seen on a national stage. It’s exactly what I experienced in first marriage. It’s called the rollercoaster & I’m getting dizzy & the ride isn’t fun anymore.
There is no defense. If you have to build one for the guy, that should tell you all you need to know. This is going in one direction & it’s only getting worse. Time to cut bait

Did we?

We’re 2 years removed.

Last year experience was the excuse. That’s not an excuse this year. We returns 15 starters

Such as?

I see one and that's Brennan getting hurt. Everything else is either speculation or opinion.

No way it could have been O’s fault. He is such a stable and low key guy. I bet he’d never wander. It had to be her.
