That call on the "charge" killed any chance. We are down 6, but should have been 3 after the FT with I believe 3+ mins left.

It dictated the final 3:30 of the game. Instead of Michigan feeling the pressure and the game flow still being back and forth, it became Michigan with a safe lead and LSU had to play hurry up to try and pull off a comeback.

Its basketball, everything is pre-determined.

The mention of Watford fouling out and not Dickerson was obvious. Dickerson was fouling the entire game. Not one personal foul in the 1st half. He fouled out in the previous game early in the contest.

I don't believe the game was fixed BUT the lack of calls against Dickerson and No call when we drove the lane was oblivious .They called them late when the game was all but over.

Thomas tries to draw the foul too much instead of taking a better shot. It clearly didn’t work last night. He stands there in the corner too much looking bored too.

Until the NCAA pays for full time referees, there will always be angry fans. Billions are at stake and the NCAA depends on part timers who attempt to call a game that is incredibly fast. Worse, unlike the professional leagues, college conferences seem to gravitate to their own standards. The end result is two things. One high variance in calls which is frustrating and two, players attempting to have to adjust on the fly to how the game is called.

Now a comment on Cameron Thomas. What he needs to improve on is learn how to pass the ball. The guy played 40 minutes and had no assists. He had 42 assists on the entire season. The scouting report was you could safely go after him because he never passes. That is going to have to change if he is going to have a successful NBA career. Thomas pretty much did in the game what he did for the season. Shoot about 40% and shoot 7 free throws. Instead of taking circus shots he could set up his teammates for bunnies. Draw two, take the hit and dump to the cutter or open person. Defense would also be useful as the role players he was guarding went off. No doubt Thomas is a great talent. But he plays like a freshmen and an individual still.

That and LSU could have adjusted their game away from driving and trying to draw fouls.

Also, Watford had a terrible game. He should have been able to abuse those big slow forwards. His free throw shooting was also a huge factor when LSU had a chance to extend their lead.

IMO LSU played hard and good enough to win. If Thomas would have gotten the calls in the paint like he usually does and a few ref mistakes corrected it would have been a different outcome.
