I'm starting to get that sinking feeling...The Pirate made it look too easy last season.

I love my Tigers, but I think the Cowbells by 4.

Needless to say, the air is gonna be chock full of footballs in flight, and passing yards are gonna be a-boomin'

This should be a fun game to watch. Fingers crossed.

I hate to say it but it could look a lot like the UCLA game. We look good early due to talent, then Leach makes adjustments and our coordinators get lost.

Hope I'm wrong.

As I stated in another thread, Leach made it easy because your defense made it easy for him to make it look easy. Any thought of running a man heavy defensive scheme needs to tabled for this week.

You should get your Catastrophe Syndrome looked at, the doctor can prescribe you some testosterone.

Valid, but how does that make him a better in-game coach?

This is a tough game to predict. Some scenarios I see a shootout where whoever has the ball last wins. Others I see us winning kinda convincingly by like 17 or so. And then there's always the possibility that we shite the bed and get beat pretty handily.

The Pirate sounded cool as cucumber as he spoke of LSU this week, he said he sees nothing different from las year, Same offense, basic defense. He also said he thinks O is prying in the offense again, not in those words but his way of saying it.

Last year's game was the first game for Leach at MSU. Thus, there was an element of uncertainty of how they would play...even though Leach's offense was a know commodity. Couple that with it being LSU's first game of the season; the hubris of Orgeron thinking his new dream "attacking" defense was the key to shutting down the offense, and LSU's lack of DBs provided a recipe for the result we saw.

MSU was better that day. But they also caught LSU at the right time.

Now, if MSU comes out and shreds LSU's defense again similar to what they did last season then the Ed will have ZERO excuses to fall back on. There is 13 games of film to look at with Leach at MSU. LSU's DBs have experience and should be healthy. This is game 4 following a disappointing season rather than game 1 of an interrupted offseason spent basking in the glory of the NC season.

Get pounded by MSU again and it will be clear for all Ed has no clue what he is doing

Mississippi State is bad but they are also a bad match up for us

The only thing I can say for certain is it will be an ugly game and O will be coaching desperate

It's already pretty clear to the non-blind amongst us but OK......

Baw Baw is good at putting out fires not preventing them from happening.

He stumbled into the fates conspiring for LSU in 2019 to a point that even his mismanagement couldn't derail the run to the Natty.

I hope differently but I'm afraid we've seen who and what he's been over the past 15 years.

Leach has been running the same offense for over 20 years. I’m not sure LSU thought they’d see that day.
