I'm not surprised by Ed Orgeron agreeing to separation terms.

The dude bleeds purple and gold more than anyone in this world. It's a shame he caught lightning in a bottle and was unable to maintain that level of success.

Assuming this is true, Ed O cares too much about LSU and its success to drag it through the mud in litigation and prevent the players from being able to compete at the level he believes they deserve. Unfortunately sometimes you have to take a look in the mirror and accept the fact that someone can do better than you can for the things/people you love. It's like a bad relationship that you need to walk away from so that both parties can better themselves.

I appreciate the 2019 season more than words can describe, but unfortunately since then Ed O has been unable to provide anything showing he could maintain that level of success. Not only that, but this program with a top 5 talent pool in the nation is being blown out by teams that our 3rd string should beat easily. We have played so far below our talent level for 2 years it makes les miles look like a tactical genius...

Hopefully we can find the best fit possibly, GEAUX TIGERS!!!

So much so that he spurned an offer as DL coach from miles and instead took the same job for kiffin at tennessee.

Or they laid out a portfolio in front of Ed and said, "if you want to make this ugly, here's what we have to leak to the press" and Ed said, "where do I sign?"

O absolutely deserves credit for taking the classy way out. He won’t get it from most people here though.

It’s not because he loves LSU (I’m not saying he doesn’t).

It’s because a he gets more money negotiating a quiet buyout than going to court to fight his fire for cause and losing.

I love that 2019 team. I’m glad it happened and I have nothing against the guy personally, but he never should have been hired and it’s best for everyone to part ways.

Not everyone has to be blackmailed to agree to terms. If Ed O feels his team would suffer and he wants to walk away with 10mil on the spot instead of 14mil over 2 years and can't coach in the meantime it's a win for both parties.

Loves LSU and the job so much he kept hanging around slutty women being photographed when warned numerous times he was putting his job at risk with embarrassing behavior.

If he loves LSU like you think he is much dumber than any of us thought and we think he is dumb.

Probably in a rigid document holder that maintains the order of the documents with three metal clasps or rings on the spine.

Hopefully, both parties are happy....if so, this is a great way to move on. Props to O and Woody.

This really is one of the biggest lies he and his supporters ever told.

He didn’t avoid litigation because he loves the school, he’s avoiding litigation because Woodward would bury his arse with Title IX and he wouldn’t get a dime of his buyout. He agreed because it’s his only option to get a final pay day.

Nothing, knowing Woody the settlement has a 6 week morals clause that will reduce the amount if O steps out.

Well I’ll certainly give it to him.

It was time to move on, and I’m glad he’s making the transition smooth. I’ve said this before, but I do believe he loves LSU and I have nothing against the man. So credit to where credit is due. Thanks for 2019 and take care O.

Bingo, this was settled in 3 days. O got advice from his counsel to take the deal which is telling that he was buried.
