Rig job in effect by the CFB playoff committee: Wisconsin, Penn State & Michigan are ranked seven spots higher in CFB rankings than in AP or Coaches Poll. UF, Bama & AU are six spots lower in CFP than in AP or Coaches. Ohio State is being protected to keep LSU from one seed.

Talking heads already making excuses for LSU to stay at two

This a direct quote from someone talking college football

“Georgia’s injuries at the receiver position hurt LSU drastically” talking about the eye test and strength of record and such.
Made no mention of OSU struggling against Penn State’s backup QB

Even at half strength, Georgia would beat shitty Wisconsin like a drum. What gives the committee's agenda away so easily is the differential of rankings between the CFP poll and the other 2 polls. It's so obvious that they are artificially inflating the rankings of Ohio State's opponents.

Clays twitter posts rants after each announcement.

He was dead on last night. Said it’s a joke LSU isn’t number 1 and said this LSU team could be a top team of all time and they aren’t even the number 1 seed?

Where the committee gets themselves in a paradox is when they try to rank teams according to the entire season...then juxtapose that with head to head matchups. For ex. AU is 9-3. Bama is 10-2. Generally one might say 10-2 is better than 9-3. BUT, Bama lost to AU and they don't want to rank Bama ahead of AU because of it (despite Bama having the better record). So I'm sure what they did is 1st find the slot for Auburn. The immediately slide Bama in behind them. That's why Bama dropped 7 spots even though no one really thinks Bama is a worse team than Wisconsin or PSU.

It's also the reason Michigan only dropped one spot despite being blown out at home. They looked at Michigan and said "shite. We know Notre Dame has a better record (10-2). But Michigan beat ND (and Iowa) so we can't rank Mich behind those two.

The AP and Coaches polls took a more "overall" approach. They stuck Michigan, and their 3 losses, behind all of the power conf. teams with less than 3 losses. That includes Notre Dame even though Mich. beat them. They also kept 2-loss Bama ahead of PSU and Wisconsin because they feel Bama is the best 2-loss team (does anyone really think Bama would lose to PSU or Wisc?). They also kept Bama ahead of AU simply because Bama has 1 less loss

The biggest issue for me is the HUGE drop for Minnesota. They are 8 spots behind a PSU team with the same record. A PSU team they beat. So "head to head" doesn't matter there?

So what? USCe would still probably beat half of the teams on Ohio State's schedule.

At this point, play anyone and beat everybody. If We get to New Orleans, no one will stop us in that game

I don't believe in conspiracy... but it's gotten so bad, it's hard not to see their agenda. Last night they tried to justify putting Baylor at 7 because of "solid win vs. Texas." so we're just gonna ignore the fact that LSU beat that same Texas team while they were ranked number 9? Phil Steele said it best when the value of a win should not diminish over time.

This is what LSU gets for not being a media darling.

If LSU were Bama, they NEVER would have fallen after winning.
