What doesn’t make sense to you? He 100% sucked as a QB coach for the Panthers, he has no OC experience, he’s a HUGE name dropper yet no one really reciprocates his imaginary friendships.

BUT bc he was with the NFL doing such a lousy job, then he is worthy of being our OC!

Can’t imagine what it’s like getting paid a million dollars to put the best employees on the field

Yes! For one, he’s not a “really good” friend of Joe Brady.

Gray - most of us understand that Les won on talent alone, in spite of scheme and strategy.

So does career DL line coach Ed win on scheme and strategy, or is all that talent wasted unless stars named Joe align?

drastically underachieved, given the talent he had on his rosters.
At the 5yr mark Ed is actually slightly behind Miles career W%, so I don't see this huge chasm to point at.

Why did O waste an entire year with E and Linehan instead of immediately going after Brady/Peetz/Mangas types?

That's what many Alums and sane LSU fans are asking and that's why we have serious doubts about his Critical Decision Making Abilities?

That has nothing to do if we like Ed Orgeron personally or not.

It's all about LSU Football and his ability to consistently produce a Top 10 caliber football program!

In other words, you’re rooting for LSU to suck so you can come back here and pump your chest about being “right”?

I mean he had Teddy Bridgewater and no weapons.

Teddy is what he is.

Peetz seems very detail oriented and like a good guy as well. I can see why they hired him.
I’m just glad O interviewed him this time (I’m assuming).

Ole’ Les missed that day at coaching school.

I think Miles requirements for obtaining starting position were, upperclassman performance in big cat drills!

That is only because of last year.

I don't remember seeing the "best friends" angle being pushed when Peetz was hired. I do remember a quote from O saying "Brady recommended Peetz". But, I can't find any quote from Brady himself about Peetz, other than this one from June 2020 saying Peetz was doing a great job in Carolina.

Does anybody have a Brady-on-Peetz quote from around the time LSU hired Peetz?

That's cause that guy is making it up.

He is obsessed with peetz. It's beyond just being worried about the offense.
I do agree with one thing he said. Dj mangas is a huge addition
