Then you're delusional. Care to throw out the names of any winners you think aren't cheating?

LSU may. Maybe their appeasing the media with a 1-game suspension knowing that if there is a game he can miss it’s this one. That’s my hope anyway. We should crush Vandy today with or without Wade.

Lots of young people post here who can't see the forest because of all those damn trees.

It's just the way it is Slippy.

No matter what LSU does after all these reports came out, well they weren't going to win either way.

It's already over. People just don't want to admit it because they've not experienced these type of things before.

I’m still looking for ANY example of where cooperating with NCAA has been beneficial to an athletic program.

It appears schools do better by denying forever.

The problem here is Wade was dumb enough to get personally involved. This is 100% on him, no one else.

would submit that by suspending Wade, LSU is doing him a favor. The best chance at preserving this program, limiting future penalties, AND bringing Will Wade back as coach is to suspend him, show the NCAA you are cooperating fully, that they are out ahead of this deal. Anything else is just cavalier alpha male shite. The future of this program is at stake.
if you can breath thru your nose you see this

That doesn't answer the question.

I’m not sure Trent Johnson cheated and if he did he was terrible at it.

We ended up with a Tuba player playing center.

You want that again? Or do you want to be a part of March Madness with the rest of the big boys?

The plane has either already hit the mountain or it won’t. Suspending Wade for a couple weeks isn’t going to change anything. The administration is attempting to cover their own arse, nothing more or less.

So we just completely ignore the extensive track record of programs getting obliterated by the NCAA by “working with them”, and the equally impressive list of programs who have given the NCAA nothing and still play today with no ill effects?

Lol if you think every coach isn’t personally involved orbthat the administration didn’t hire him to do exactly what he did. Hell man there are other coaches that were personally involved in the same thing and they’re still coaching.

I don't think anyone is naïve enough to think you can win without cheating.

However, Wade totally screwed it up and got personally involved.

This argument rings hollow, either keep up with the “Jones” or be prepared to have a bad team. I think WW knows that, apparently many fans don’t.

The last schools to cooperate with the NCAA still ended up getting fricked in the arse.

So if you're gonna get fricked regardless, you might as well let the players and fans ride out the first fun season LSU has had in years. I know so many people who have said they are watching LSU basketball again for the first time this decade because it is finally fun again. It's not like Wade "allegedly" did something extremely reprehensible. He "allegedly" did something everyone else is already doing. He just got caught. But let him close out this great season and cross the NCAA bridge when they come Knocking. Don't throw your hands up and surrender that the damn French.

I can guarantee you most are smarter than to leave a direct trail.

Wade screwed up, this is on him.

Wade is suspended pending investigation. And if that investigation comes back with nothing, which is likely, why the frick was he suspended? This is administration caving to the media. The obviously hypocritical media that KNOWS this stuff happens at Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Syracuse, etc....

Sean Miller is on wiretap ACTUALLY discussing a 100k payment to a player, and they brought him back in a week. Why can't LSU do the same with Wade???

This is the attitude I just can't understand.

I'm a huge LSU fan, it's a big part of me, everybody that knows me knows this. But I can't go here. I guess I'm just one of those old law and order guys, a thing of the past it seems.

You get a coach like Will Wade once in a lifetime. He is bigger than the program IMO. You think Bama is where they are at today without Saban. I say Hell No. You lose Wade , you don't have to worry about LSU basketball . The program will be dead just like it was under Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones. Just my opinion.

Trent Johnson would not play ball with Collis Temple Jr and other boosters. Thus, why he couldn't sign any talent to come here.

If you want to play with the big boys (Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, Carolina), you have to play like a big boy.
