I believe he will be emerge as our number 3 WR behind Racey and Terrace. He came in and brought our first spark offensively having 5 catches for 85 yards.

He's been here since 2018 so he has had time to adapt compared to Boutte and Palmer. He was only a 3 star recruit from Jena with LSU being his only SEC offer. He seemed to show a lot of effort and has the "dog" in him. Reminded me of Russell Gage a bit. Here's to hoping for more touches for Jaray!

You dont have to hope. He will easily get them. I expect he starts Sat with Marshall and McMath. He seems to have the chemistry with Brennan unlike anyone else.

He was 6'1" when he got here

LINK

And now in his third year has grown to 6'4"

At any position, I don't care who plays, nobody is "entitled" to play, put the guys in who make plays!!!

Nah. He'll nearly always be the 4th "receiver" on a play whether split out or on the end....
Marshall is clear #1.
McMath / Jenkins running 2-3 now I'd think...
Boutte / Palmer / Kirklin reserves

I think he’s more well rounded than Racey, who is more of a linear route runner

He looked really solid last game. Had some big plays and was open downfield a few times.

McMath was lazy on the weekend, Jenkins should definitely start over him

McMath was open a lot on the weekend but Brennan consistently didn't see him.

Jenkins got so much swagga he’ll give the first down sign after picking up 5 yards even if he needed 10

JaRay is from my hometown. I watched him from Jr High through high school. He had a compound break of his lower leg the first game of his senior year which was devastating for his development and recruiting rank. Also Jena is a ball control/run team. I once seen him score 5 TD’s in a game. One each rushing, receiving, punt return, kick return, & pick six.

Yeah, he was exciting to watch at JHS. That was a devastating game to be at his senior year, I told my wife I have never been to a game where a team wins by 30+ points and everyone on that side looks like you lost by that many. That being said, the kid runs exceptional routes, he is fast, and sure handed. He was a threat every time he touched the ball in high school.

Based on how they played last week Jaray should start as the #2 WR ahead of Racey. I could see him developing into that reliable slot role Jefferson was so good at where he would just always seem to get open.
