Does that account for any tv renegotiations with LSU in its next conference?

Big 10 provides all of that.

People will claim Money, Prestige, and Recruiting…but will ignore the fact that your own conference would be the first one in line begging the selection committee to exclude LSU in a tight year-end.

What conference?

The Big12 and ACC are poor and dying. If UT/OU couldn't save the Big12, LSU isn't. And the ACC has Clemson, Miami, FSU, etc.

We already have examples of these lesser conferences with programs superior to LSU, and it wasn't pretty for the elite programs. That's why they all left or are trying to leave.

No, we founded this conference, we are staying. Get Sankey out and get someone competent in.

They're not taking LSU.

They weren't before this mess, and the odds became even lower after what LSU is doing. You think the Big10 will put up with this?

Road trips to College Park, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Lincoln, and Chicago? I’ll pass. I like where we are. I just hope the Commish and his cronies see that, too.

True, however, that is absolutely going to happen this year. Kicked out or not.

Texas was killing the Big 12, no one else.

Convince Arkansas and Texas A&M to join LSU in the Big 12. Expand the Big 12 to 20 teams, poach some ACC teams and renegotiate the TV contract. Big 12 would look like this:

Big 12 East
LSU
Arkansas
Miami (With Miami no need to keep UCF, kick UCF out)
Virginia Tech
West Virginia
Pittsburgh (With Pittsburgh, kick Cincinnati out)
NC State
Kansas
Kansas State
Oklahoma State

Big 12 West
BYU
Utah
Arizona
Arizona State
Colorado
Texas A&M
Texas Tech
Baylor
TCU
Houston

That's a strong conference overall. A new TV contract with those teams gets the Big 12 close to where the SEC is now. Not quite but close. And without LSU, Arkansas and Texas A&M, I have a feeling the SEC will be "renegotiating" with ESPN/ABC, since the SEC would have lost one of their biggest schools.

The ACC with LSU Clemson
Miami FSU starts to command more football presence. Also Franklin will get Va Tech back to respectable level.

I’d be willing to bet that gets some more TV money and then the ACC isn’t dying anymore

The ACC has no program on LSUs level so your assertion of that conference failing with “bigger programs” is false

As for the big 12 part of why they died is the program on LSUs level wasn’t playing in a manner to benefit the conference (longhorn network)

I don't think A&M is going to be willing to leave the SEC at this point. They *drool* every time they say they're in the SEC. If they SEC goes down in flames, they're going down with it, especially if Texas is in the SEC.

But I do think the idea that the Big 12 could be a competitive conference in the same breath with the Big 10 and SEC (in all sports, not just Football) has merit.

Support. This conference blows from scheduling down to leadership.

LSU has all three WITHOUT the SEC!
frick the SEC.
LSU should go Independent, just like Notre Dame.
Easy schedule, no conference championship, easy peasy!! LSU would gain a competitive advantage doing so!

The SEC top management is horrible.
Ridiculous! THEY are bringing more embarrassment to the SEC than ANYTHING LSU has done(which is nothing).

LSU followed Sankys bitch arse rule passed at the last minute and didn't play the two players. This is a ridiculous situation brought on by the NCAA and now the SEC.
