Frick you for thinking we are the only one cheating.
Wade didn’t invent this system. The ncaa has.

Yes I understand that and that’s why I understand that he isn’t talking To the administration. I also understand why he was suspended. Just because you don’t agree with it doesn’t mean they are doing the wrong thing.

These players should be able to sign contracts with shoe companies but the greedy ncaa doesn’t want that.

A young coach getting a big job in the big stage has to compete with the other big schools if he expects to win.

He has to compete and play by the same set of rules that the others follow, or he is going to lose.

He can't change the rules, nor can he ignore what the others are doing. In fact he should try and emulate what the Coach Ks, Selfs and Williams are doing. Aren't these types role models?

Now you can call Wade a cheater if you want, but I won't. What he's doing is common and is accepted as the norm. If it weren't then all these schools would not be doing it.

In fact if he didn't do what the other programs are doing then he wouldn't be doing his job which is to compete and win championships.

I can understand that sentiment. Yet "Everybody's doing it" is not an excuse. I will leave it there

Then stop watching college sports altogether

No we dont know that he cheated so STFU with those type statements. He hasnt been convicted of a damn thing and our argument is that the administration shouldnt make knee jerk reactions based on media reports.

Wade made an offer that was rejected. He doesn't say what the offer was and doesn't say if an offer was ever accepted. Cheating isn't the issue with Wade. IDC what level of sports you are talking about and don't care what sport, every player gets something from their coaches/boosters that's against NCAA rules. The issue here is whether or not an actual illegal offer transacted and if there is some kind of proof. But the FBI isn't concerned with coaches that paid families directly, only those that went through Dawkins and Co. Wade never says an offer was accepted and transpired. That is the key to this matter. Without absolute guilt the NCAA will have to find evidence that an actual transaction transpired. The Smart family is denying anything was given to them. If they admitted to receiving anything Javonte would be done and we wouldn't be hearing anything about him coming back. And that may not be who Wade was talking about. In the end Wade may not have even given anything illegal. He may of decided to try this Dawkins way and in the end decided it was too much of a hassle. I mean, why would he need to go through some dude from New York or any other state or even in Louisiana when J Smart lives a few miles down the fricking road? Doesn't make much sense.

I would have that view if I was an OM fan also. OM cheats and still doesn't win sec championships. Then get caught cheating and punished by the NCAA. rinse and repeat

employers don't need to wait until an employee is convicted to take action. That can take years and is a different scenario.

The employer's responsibility is to the organization.

Our administration seems more concerned with buckling to media pressure than doing what's best for the organization.

If only the FBI looked this hard into the transfer of campaign funds instead of a fricking collegiate game.

Most of us accept that he cheated. Our beef is that it is ok for some and not the rest.

You're probably correct, but what a lot of folks don't like is that LSU didn't let the process play out, to the possible detriment of the best basketball team we have had in at least a decade. Instead, we suspended a coach and, effectively, a player over a leaked recording that may not establish violations. And then there are the straight-up radical Tiger fans who don't give a rip, god bless 'em.
