Me too. I'm in Tampa flying to Houston. Lots of wisc and OSU fans headed to game here. I'm sporting my purple though.

What might not happen again? Playing in tbe SECCG? Short of death penalty sanctions or a comet striking Baton Rouge, LSU will play in more SECCGs.
I went to 3 of them in my 20s before like OP, life's responsibilities made this trip out of reach. I mean I guess I could go if I left my 2 young children home with my wife or pawned them off on my parents for an extended weekend.

I had a young family between 1999 and 2011 and during those years I watched the Tigers play for it all twice in person. Watched a bowl vs Illinois, Iowa, Oklahoma, OSU, and road trips to see regular season games vs Ole Miss, Miss St, Fla, Tenn, Alabama and Ark.
I did it all w my dad and it was freaking awesome.
I lost him 2 years ago, but those trips are etched in my mind.
Moral of the story: take a chance and go to some of those games if you can. I did.

Just passed the Cracker Barrel in Newnan, GA and the LSU football equipment truck is in the parking lot.
