Probably need to give Lester a break. The guy has posted almost 265,000 times. Anyone who spends that much time on a message board has bigger issues than trying to figure out a starting lineup.

Let me know what he does against Miss St, Arkansas and Vandy. I’ll save you the trouble, ground out to second base and strike out.

Everyone’s average will drop against those teams. Except Miss State, which looks to be having a tough season.

You know he hit 0.293 last year and his SEC average (0.317) was higher than his OOC average.

Wow! Excellent work, ell!

ETA: You saw the post.

Gio won’t hit 0.400 in SEC. But he’s proven he’s capable.

I guess he must have forgot when those “singles” saved our regional last year as he hit in the walk off rbi during the elimination game. That or he just likes to conveniently cherry pick bad at bats and use those at bats to act like someone is garbage. Dude must not know that baseball is a game of failure pretty much. Having success 1/3 of the time in baseball is considered a decent/good average. So if he strikes out a few times or grounds out every now and then but then comes through for a walkoff hit during a regional elimination game then all is well…
If gio stays hot (which I think he will) our teams future looks even better.

Miss st!?!? Hahah holy shite, this just show how much you DONT follow baseball and just talk out of your arse. Miss st looks like hot fricking garbage right now and w/ Landon sims most likely out for the season they will only go downhill….

A better question is should Gio have ever been not in the lineup?

quote:

You wonder if Jay knew Gio was his RF all along. He started opening day, didn't do anything to lose his spot in that first weekend, then really didn't play again until Texas, then gets 2 starts heading into conference.

Ah purposely starting then benching then starting him again so the Coach looks like a genius.

NOW we’re talking the chaos and insecurity I love seeing around here!

Safford at 2B on opening day will never not be a head scratcher for me. He has a whopping 5 ABs now.

Saffords pre-season numbers were really good. Maine broke him.
