This team needs some meanness and toughness that some Les Miles teams had. Coach Miles demanded toughness from his lineman. He definitely had his short comings, but more than not, they were tough. One team in college football exhibits this demeanor, and that's Georgia. Weston Davis would be an All American if he had a mean streak. Some of you think my statement is absurd and that's ok, but im right.

I agree but that’s never been Lane’s style and I don’t think it’s gonna start now.

He has flashy teams. Not hard noised, punch you in your mouth teams

I don’t think anyone disagrees. We have to get better in the trenches.

How much of that mean streak was on Moffit? Hopefully, the new staff can bring that back out, these OL are so soft, as are some of the defenders.

The kid gloves need to come off, time to release the kraken.

Name a mean team currently in the NCAA.

There ain't one. NIL ruined that. Adapt to the times or get left behind.

LSU hasn’t had a truly elite lock down defense since Les left.

2019 was leaky compared to Les Miles’ defenses

I personally know a couple of fellows that played for Milrs, he was a rigid man when it come to line play. No bs type of coach. Personally I hate zone blocking, but that's just a personally opinion.

again. It's bullshite that this is the narrative. That LSU is just the only clown school that spent all this money and made all these moves just to be embarrassed. They're not alone here. In fact. The list is growing every week.

There are several teams that spent the same or more money and are having just as embarrassing seasons. The entire top spenders list in college football is around 15 teams. In those ranks include Florida, TAMU, Michigan, Oregon, and a couple other teams that had embarrassing losses to unranked teams and a couple who barely squeaked by one score against unranked teams this weekend.

LSU isn't the only big spender having bad results this year.
This college football arms race is getting absolutely stupid and it's time adults stepped in and stopped this madness.

Everyone IS laughing at us, and they are taking great pleasure in watching what they think is LSUs demise. I hope that serves as motivation

One thing that I noticed was that Kentucky was meaner, more physical and through the whistle. We were not.

They aren't playing smash mouth football. You dont throw 25 times in a true smash mouth style.

Out side of Steele in 2015 CLM had better defensive coordinators than Baker. I'd rather have 3rd and Chavis, than 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Baker

These kids today don’t have it in them. They were raised in a soft environment. They are all primadonnnas motivated chiefly by money and fame. The entire motivation for playing the game has changed. They have no loyalty to anyone or anything but themselves.

Old school will not work. This generation is SOFT mentally. They are selfish and think only of themselves. When the going gets tough, they quit. Making these selfish, entitled, prima donas millionaires as teenagers makes it even worse.
