and I got NO problem saying LSU beat our butts. Turnovers and penalties are mostly a result of what the opponent's D is doing or the pressure they are causing. LSU is friggin' loaded this year.

That being said, I think if you look at Oregon vs. Alabama, then I think a strong case can be made that Oregon is more deserving (not necessarily better), but will have a better resume'. 'Bama is doing their very typical SEC thing of playing the annual November creampuff.

Stanford > Arkansas
USC > Penn. St

Also, if you get a chance, check out Georgia's schedule. HELLO! It's the anti-LSU. That is one overrated team.

Personally though, I think this LSU team is one for the ages...although, I got to think a rematch isn't something the natives want with either 'Bama or Oregon.

Rematches are just There are too many teams in college football and too few weeks to play the same team twice.

I don't think there will be a rematch. If LSU wins out we will play the winner of Oklahoma/Oklahoma State IMO. I think voters will want to give someone a chance that hasn't played LSU already.

i would die for a oregon rematch. Only reason oregons been rolling is because they have not played anyone close to LSU. A preview for a LSU oregon rematch would be of the first game against yall. Im sure chip kelly is pretty pissed right now he scheduled that one. An Alabama rematch would put me on serious edge though but that month layoff, miles knows how to prepare his team

I agree with what you're saying, plus Oregon's loss to LSU was at an LSU-dominated neutral site and Bama lost at home.

On the other hand, in a head-to-head matchup, I would pick Bama to beat Oregon. Wish we could see that in the Rose or Sugar and let the shitty B1G champ deal with Houston or Boise. Damn conference tie-ins will prevent any good pairings outside of the BCSNCG, though. That'd make for a fascinating game. Instead, we get to watch Oregon beat Michigan State by 20 and Bama stomp a mudhole into Houston. So much fun.

Bama would brutally annihilate Oregon. LSU is now a much better team than in September. A rematch on cajun soil would be the bomb. And y'all thought you were outnumbered last time.

If we make it to the big game, and If we have to rematch...I'd much rather play Oregon than Bama. Still a long way to go, If we get there though, I don't think anyone beats us in the Dome.

Bring it, but Yall would have a hard time beating any of the top 3 in the sec. GA would give u a run with time to prepare, because they are not to shabby on defense.

I would would rather a rematch with Oregon over Bama. At least the Oregon game was on a neutral field and Oregon will win their conference. It would be a slap in the face to LSU to give Bama a rematch after LSU beat them in Bama and then had to play the SEC championship game.

But if LSU wins out they will play he OK State/OU winner.
