Winning g % is meaningless. Look at Mike Martin. No titles with 40 wins for 40 years straight.

Cannizzaro for one. Or Auburn's coach. Mike Bianco. shite, I'd take Ben McDonald at this point.

Texas Tech coach is first call for me, and yes i know he's at his home there.. but you still try.

TCU coach..

Duke coach?

I mean it's baseball.. LSU will recruit itself.. get a guy who can coach..

How about a coach who has a dedicated paid hitting coach like every other fricking team left in the Supers?? How about just that? That alone could do wonders for LSU..

It comes down to this question. Would you rather keep Paul knowing that you will be disappointed at the end of the season or would you rather a young up and coming coach who has the potential to make it to Omaha? Time for Paul to go.

So you'd rather have somebody who wins less? Cool.

If they do alright with much less talent. LSU is living off the 90s right now and we’ll on our way to mediocrity.

eta: I want someone who wins in spite of their program, not someone who wins because of their program. That’s what makes a good coach.

Texas Techs HC is a good bet

But I think he played there, so he isn’t leaving

STFU! Paul isn’t getting it done and has made LSU a middle of the pack SEC team that struggles more times than not in the post season

1) LSU isn't a middle of the pack SEC team.
2) The SEC is STACKED
3) This isn't the 90's. College baseball has a lot of parity.
4) This team has fought LOTS of injuries this year.
5) It's baseball. Sometimes you get the breaks, sometimes you don't.

I don't think Manieri is infallible but I also think some of the fanbase doesn't live in reality.

Bottom line: Mendoza’s run is meaningless. You put him on 10/10 times in that situation.

PM WAS a great coach. Those days are behind him. We have an AD in place who can make those decisions now. I’m sure he’ll get one more season. If we don’t show serious improvement as a program, he’ll be retired. It’s not even a tough decision any more. We just don’t have IT anymore.
