He definitely has the ability to be a starter in this league

He’ll be a relief pitcher in the MLB, and be pretty good.

Unless he pitches a perfect game, some people will still bitch.

Still uses a lot of pitches, but he’s such a competitor. Proud to have him repping the Tigers.

I will admit, I didn’t think he would pull it together and be a viable starter. But that wild mother fricker has arrived. He threw some nasty pitches.

No one was ever arguing his pro future. The argument was should he be a starter at THIS level. He has shown that he can. Idgaf if he’s a one batter specialist in the bigs. He can be a college starter.

Some of us preached patience, said he pitched well for USA baseball and was dealing with a groin injury to start the season. He was fantastic tonight.

I've never given up on him, and had high hopes for him coming into the season. But his inconsistencies were impossible to ignore. It's really great to see him put it together in back to back starts like this.

Hopefully not only will he keep it going, but perhaps others will begin to follow his lead. Henry has shown flashes, and Walker was much better last week, so maybe we're finally beginning to see some of the potential we knew this pitching staff had.

Just gotta get Marceaux going, and get Hill healthy.

Well the OP said a starter in the league, and I’m saying I don’t think that is the case.

He said THIS league. Are you saying he doesn’t have what it takes to be a starter in the SEC?

I wasn't able to start watching until the 5th.
I couldn't believe Hess was still pitching and it was 0-0.
I REALLY couldn't believe he only had around 65 pitches.

If he continues to do that I'll gladly eat crow.

Impressive level of delusion to never have been concerned with him being the Friday night guy after a season + of complete mediocrity. Glad he's gotten it together but all the criticism was completely valid.

Criticism was valid but I thought he needed at least till SEC play before they replaced him. And he improved nearly every outing.

The rant was bitching at CPM for making him the Friday night starter but apologizes to Hess.

Don't ever change, rant.

Looks like I misread it. I was thinking he said “the” but he said this. Yes he absolutely can start in the SEC.
