Vegas likes LSU'S defense and dont think Auburn's secondary can cover WRs.

Auburn had that team beat with seconds left in the game. I believe we made a field goal to win.

No they didn’t. You’re thinking of 2018. 2019 was at home and we were comfortably in control. Up 23-13 and Auburn scored a TD to bring it within 3 with about 2 minutes left and we ran out the clock.

Well, I’ll say this: Generally, betting on 8.5 point favorites on the road in SEC play isn’t a sound gambling strategy.

Is that backed by actual results?

Part of me says because the line is so high LSU will cover. It’s like Vegas is begging you to bet Auburn plus the points. I had Auburn, FL and BYU to win last week. And had LSU -14. One of my best weekends ever. But knowing the history of this series I’m staying away. But if LSU can run the ball and stop the run and not turn it over they willl cover.

Just trying to understand:

Is your position that this board should never discuss gambling or lines in games because someone, somewhere may have a gambling problem?

I hope that "family member" doesn't have a TV/radio and rides around with a blindfold on, because every other advertisement I see is for online gambling.

Is your position the same for threads about alcohol or any other possibly addicting behavior? (For instance, in your golfer analogy, Tiger Woods has an addiction of a different variety)
This board might become very boring....

I don't bet against LSU...ever. It conflicts with what I want to happen in the game.

Made plenty of disappointed money on the Bama LSU games betting the other side. There I no team in the country I know better than LSU week in and week out.

We’re coming off a very low stress win.

And Sam is getting better in the passing game each week. His chemistry with the receivers and ability follow the game plan is miles above where it was 5 weeks ago.
