If you were the LSU AD, what would you change about our athletic program?

Amidst the shite slinging freakout our collective fan base had last night (per usual), I couldn't help but notice some of you actually managed to take jabs at Joe Alleva last night.
"Joe should fire Paul, but he doesn't have the balls"
hell, I even read:
"Joe played baseball in high school, so he thinks he knows everything about baseball"...(what in the actual frick?)
Would some of you suggest actually firing Paul Maineri for over-thinking the 8th on Sunday? We would be the laughing stock of collegiate athletics for firing a guy with his body of work. Note that I am pissed about him pulling Bouman and the entirety of his tendency to over-think us out of games, but what is Alleva to do? I'm also ticked Maineri hired his freaking godson to coach the hitting, but before he could be canned this season our hitting turned it around in a big way. we also have a loaded recruiting class on the way, so I at this point in time I have mixed feelings about javi.
This thread isn't just about baseball. It covers our entire athletic program. I'm just curious because I feel like LSU athletics is primed for a huge year next season, and I'm just interested to see what some of you would suggest changing regarding our athletic department.

Put the big LSU block letters back in the endzones.

We would win more national titles

Why fix something that isn't broken?

Probably nothing
gymnastics-finished #3 and returns 9/10 of the roster
golf- finished top 3 and returns 4/5 starters
football-self explanatory
baseball-self explanatory
soccer-#7 recruiting class coming in, by far the best class in school history
volleyball-6 straight SECW titles and #13 class coming in
WBB- back-to-back sweet 16's
MBB- The jury is still out on Johnny, but obviously he deserves 2 more seasons. he is recruiting lights out and promotes the program well. Personally I love the job he's done so far. He reminds me of Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss
track-Young top 8 teams with huge recruiting classes coming in
Torina-results speak for herself. We've improved dramatically and have the #1 pitcher in the nation coming in, which is like 3/4 of winning in softball.
i could go on and on
You might be totally facetious, but I am just wondering what people want from the guy

Ensure everyone in Tiger Stadium Section 421 has complimentary hookers and blow for every game.

we did have a down year results wise but we can't really do anything. Les can't be touched for a few more years or unless we have a losing season. Jones has two more years before we can really make a change. Paul, can't really change but pressure should be on him if next year is another regional loss. If this regional loss had followed 2011 then we could probably can him. However, it follows a cws run so he still has 2 more seasons before its even a discussion. Joe really can't do much

you said "can" or "can't" a bunch, but not "should" or "shouldn't." what do you think should be done?

Good topic. Honesty i think alleva has done a good job at keeping a great program great. I would like to see more of the football revenue going into our other sports. The new tiger stadium addition will be awesome, but was it really a priority over remodeling the natatorium, or upgrading the pmac?

bingo.
Joe told our swimming coaches, Van U-Club golfer addict Chancellor, Tony Minnis, and Yvette to GTFO. He gently pushed TJ out the door following that mistake hire. Alleva has shown he doesn't mind kicking losers to the curb
about that bad hire. who gives a frick? he made a mistake. Jeff Long and Jeremy Foley screw up all the time. that doesn't mean they are incompetent. Also, everyone thought the TJ hire was going to be a big success.

This is what I'm wondering.

As far as facilities, his endzone project takes a huge dump on Skip's west side expansion.
Also, can anyone tell me with a straight face Alleva would have let Pat Henry walk out the door, given his dedication and support for our mid-major programs?

Go to a home and home series with the major players of college football to fill our ENTIRE OOC schedule. If it would cost me more, fine. Atleast, I know I am getting quality product. 6 home 6 away against quality is better than 7 home against scrubs.

Overall, I think Alleva has been great. I have no idea why the majority of this board can't stand him.
1) He stresses the importance of academic excellence to our student athletes
2) Financials are great
3) Toonces is dead
4) Tiger Stadium has greatly improved under his tenure even though I'm not a fan of his recent west renovations
4) He continues to upgrade all facilities. (I do wish he'd put together a 15-30 year Facility Master Plan similar to Long at Arkansas LINK I believe it could motivate fans & alumni to donate more.

Way easier said than done. Also, with the SEC gauntlet we run every year, we need a couple of cupcakes.

well clearly i don't think we should do something that we can't do. So as far as our major sports we shouldn't make any changes. Joe should focus on fixing the traffic problem for now.
